If you want to get out of "town" for some destination dining, Republic is a short drive! They have an interesting menu, the foods are freshly prepared, and the open sky views are just what I needed. They were kind enough to whip up one of their signature salads and soup between lunch and dinner. I do believe it's my favorite tortilla soup now. They have a beautiful patio with nice breezes and indoor dining as well. Service was friendly and relaxed.
These people are AMAZING!! Everyone is so sweet- foods delicious and drink amazing!!! And I’m here as corona has just let up some and they have just reopened. Everyone is spread far apart and they are cleaning every inch of tables and chairs as people leave as well as all staff wearing gloves and masks. We truly appreciate the extra efforts from all of their staff! Makes us very comfortable dining in during these times.
Finally got to this place while it was open. It might be opened only on the weekends. The TVs are still too high like the previous place and they didn't fix the bathroom door since the last business here. Burger was cooked well and my wife liked her chicken sandwich. Hope it opens more hours soon.
The Republic is a relatively new restaurant in Leander. Expect a crowd for evening dining especially on weekends. Seating is limited and not much in the way of a waiting area. The food is very good but a little pricey for the portions. Atmosphere is somewhat noisy and a bit cramped. Wait staff is cheerful and attentive. Drinks are available at your table or at the bar. Ample parking.
Solid new place to go food was delicious I had the burger and my wife the salmon sandwich. Nice drink selection with some nice local brews. Full house when we got there so was kinda loud to have a conversation with the lack of any soft surfaces the room just reflects the sound around. Nice decor has a real Texas vibe meaning shiplap and tin paneling. Nice to have a place like this only 5 minutes away.
