“We we're looking for some gluten free pies for xmas dinner and found Pie Jacked on Google. We called up and ordered ahead based on the good reviews. They were very friendly and had no problems with order. When I picked up the pies I realized I had stopped reading their specialty at gluten free. I saw on the box all the other things the pie didn't have in it and started to worry. A lot of gluten free, allergen free etc foods just aren't very good. They'll get great reviews since their good for what they are but are usually terrible by normal standards. This was not the case at all. Our pies were great. Particularly the apple. The only difference I could tell was the crust. It's more like a shortbread cookie in taste and texture than your standard crust. Not a bad thing, just different. I would recommend their pies even if you don't have a food allergy.”

“Coming on a school holiday before 9am, there was no wait at all. The cashier verified that what I wanted did not have anything to which I am allergic. Then after I paid as I was walking to my table, I heard her tell the kitchen to change gloves because of the allergy! I got a mocha and an Anaheim Scrambler. The mocha was perfect, not too sweet, but not at all bitter. The eggs in the scrambler were moist and fluffy. The amount of bacon was surprisingly plentiful. If you want fast service, and delicious food, visit Corner Bakery Cafe. While eating, I noticed a business meeting between two men who came in after me and a woman who had been settled in with her computer since before I arrived. The tables, chairs, and booths are more comfortable than a large chain coffee shop I could mention. If you want a place to sit and work, go to Corner Bakery Cafe.”

Fun fact: when they were restructuring (bankruptcy), they didn't choose the highest offer. They decided to keep the business in Texas with a firm that shared their values. Personally, I admire their decision and consider their journey a success case.”

“Great place to grab a famous sandwich and some cookies. Depending if you eat in, drive thru, or step in for a take out, will determine your experience. I find it much easier to step on for take out. That way you get to see the staff, have a conversation, and watch as your fresh sandwich is made in front of you. I've never in 22 years of going to a Schlotzsky's had a bad experience, but then it all depends on the individual being served. The food, well I go for the original turkey sandwich every time.”
