“The location is not on the main street from the highway but we enjoyed driving down a few holiday-decorated blocks to the intersection where this restaurant is located. Farther down that street was the Mountain View Lodge. The dining room was small but it accommodated a party of 10 in the center and about six other smaller parties at the same time. Husband and I ordered the ribeye steak to share from the chalkboard menu and added onions and mushrooms for a small charge. The waitress was kind enough to bring us two rolls and I'm so glad she did. Baked potato was served with butter and sour cream in individual plastic containers, which struck me as odd, until I realized that they held more than they looked like. Probably the first time I've gotten all the butter and sour cream I wanted! Husband ate up the warm blueberry pie but I did manage to get a few bites and it was good. Nice location with items for sale outside the restaurant, and inside, nicely decorated interior, pleasant and efficient service.”

“Got lucky timing wise for a detour during their hours... its simply mind melting bbq. I've introduced different places to friends growing up with southern bbq standards, and this place surpasses it all so far. (Including the bbq catered for our wedding) Smoky flavor in everything, but also tender and melt in your mouth! We tried it all, brisket, burnt ends, tri-tip, chicken, and pork, not to mention the beans (which was more like brisket with some pork 😍)... in the future we will change travel hours to detour here on weekends”

“Can I rate more than 5 stars?? MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE!! I am from Atlanta but I have to plan my traveling around making a stop here! I am gluten free and I have never been more impressed with the quality of every single option they have. The hunter and the primitive sandwiches are TO DIE FOR and the gatherer is another favorite of mine. I also can’t leave without an armful of their baked goods!! Love the atmosphere and the energy here, the owners and employees are amazing :) 11/10 would recommend”

“Best French toast breakfast in town, and served with warm syrup! I'm a huge fan, be sure to get it with a side of hash browns, which are not your normal hash browns... GREAT daily specials and homemade soup! Service on the other hand, has never been bad, but not the greatest either. Definitely room for improvement.”

“Toaster IS working!! We are rejoicing in a cafeteria booth at the local Parowan Subway. Kids seem to be happy with the food. Service was nice, although they were cutting onions in the back and I suddenly started crying at the register and immediately assumed I was having an emotional crisis but that was not the case. This Subway was the perfect stop and I am one step closer to perfecting my Subway order. 5 stars.”
