“The greeting you get from entrance to exit is welcoming and friendly then if you start your meal with one of there fresh made donuts is a good way to start then the rest of the meal comes and it is a wonderful explosion of flavor. There are other reviews that describe this place as a hidden jewel and that dose not describe this place the feeling of having breakfast at grandma's when you were a child. “Okay, first time here. Outside - not flashy, not even pleasing to look at. I would see this same building on the desert outskirts of a B movie, drab stucco. It's questionable for sure!! We were seated in the larger reception back afterthought area. This wouldn't be so bad except it was at least 10° warmer back there. The old wooden floor is warped, the menus having several drinks spilled on them possibly? are warped. They were out of salt and there is something that tastes from a can about their salsa. Our frozen adult drinks melted rapidly in what I now refer to as the oven room in which we were seated. It took about 5-7 minutes to be greeted and provided water, which in that heat is necessary. Pros: Polite server, Food has flavor. Decent portions. I'm not opposed to returning. I will make it a point to tell the hostess "please don't put us in the oven room, I promise we'll behave, we'll eat our meals and quietly leave, (now I'm trembling, sobbing, grasping the hosts shirt sleeves while falling to one knee, a long snot drops from my nose to the wooden floor while I scream whisper) please! Not the oven room!"”

“I’ve been going there since I was young. The food has always been great! They were a bit pricey but it was worth it for the food. The last few times I have been there the soft tacos were much smaller than they usually are. I decided to politely say something this time and the manager looked like she was so upset that I said “ it seems like these are smaller than they used to be”, She barked out “ they’re the same size they have always been”. Its almost as if she was tired of hearing that. It seems to me that if she was that upset about it maybe it’s not the first time she has heard that. It’s pretty obvious to me that they are much smaller. I didn’t mind paying more for their food but now that they portions are so small I won’t be going there anymore.”

“It's kind of hidden off 5400 s so keep your eyes open. The inside is exactly what you'd expect... An average little restaurant, clean, but could use some furniture upgrades. It borders on 4/5 stars but I gave it 5 because the green and red sauce they serve is absolutely amazing. I really enjoy spicy sauces and have a bit of tolerance for the heat so take that into consideration. These two sauces have amazing flavor with a bit of a kick! I will absolutely return for their tortas and the sauce!”
