“I had heard about "dirty sodas" and wanted to give it a try. I actually loathe carbonated drinks because I don't like the bubbly sensation, but these drinks were delicious and a refreshing way to start a long drive. My drink included raspberry puree, and I could tell it was fresh :) Their sugar cookies are pretty solid too.”

“Great place to drop in for some coffee or stay for breakfast. I’ve been twice now and liked the coffee both times; first time I got an iced honey cinnamon latte and then got a normal latte the second time (it was on the milkier side but still good). We also got the veggie crepe and the banana chocolate crepe and we enjoyed both of them. Luckily they were in the bigger side too! The baristas were all nice and helpful and the atmosphere was artsy and cozy. Lots of places to sit and write/read without it being too noisy or uncomfortable. The outdoor seating is great too but a little more noisy because it’s close to a main road.”

“I had the oxtail boat with the glass noodles and it was quite delicious. The oxtail meat was tender to the point it easily fell off the bone. The meat was also perfectly fatty to add extra flavor to the broth. However, the portion was a little too large and it cooled down significantly, which detracted from the experience. Despite the cooled temperature, i liked the various layers in the soup with the meat on top and noodles beneath, which I felt gave the dish added depth. The restaurant is smaller and it makes things feel more intimate and the server was always attentive and helpful.”

“Mana Thai Cafe is the new kid in town, and boy, are they doing it right! This joint is the definition of a family affair, run by a super-friendly husband-wife duo and backed by the wife's awesome family. Their small seating area? It feels like you're chilling in a community hangout (which you totally are!). But let's talk about the real deal—the food. They're dishing out everything from killer rice dishes to mouthwatering noodle and soup creations. Oh, and their fried rice? Top-notch! I went for the Pad Thai and the Yellow Curry—both were off-the-charts amazing. I'm counting down the days till my parents come to town 'cause you can bet I'm dragging them here. The vibe is more than just service; it's like you're part of the family. They make you feel right at home whether you're chilling at the counter or kicking back at a table. I'm already planning my next trip, not just to chow down again but also to show these guys some love and spread the word. And, okay, I've gotta be real nitpicky here—the paper plates they served us on. But honestly, I'm not fazed since they're all about takeout. Seriously, that's me really hunting for a downside! Bottom line? Mana Thai Cafe is my new go-to, and I can't wait to keep coming back for more. Go check 'em out!”

“Great cafe spot with a really strong brunch and lunch menu. Have sat outside both times and it's a great setting. In the summer it can get pretty hot but it's well shaded and usually super comfortable. Wait can be pretty long but there is a great novelties store next door that is an awesome way to pass the time as you wait to be seated.”

“First time trying out Gandolfo's Deli Market, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helped me choose which sandwich to go with! I ended up with #1 Broklyn Bridge, which has bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes, and it was pretty good! I liked how big the sandwiches are, and you could easily share it with someone. The combo meal comes with a drink and your choice of either soup or chips. Another thing I really enjoyed was the decor and the "New York Vibe" I got while eating there.”

“Love this hole-in-the-wall spot!! Finally a place with decent prices and portions. I had the yellow curry and it was flavorful but not very spicy. I’ll have to go with the green curry next time and get it spicy. This is only to-go orders so don’t plan on sticking around. It had a constant flow of people who all seemed to be regulars. Can’t wait to try more on their menu! 😍🤤”

“Good tacos, but not quite living up to the storied hype. TDR is the original taco stand in SLC. This storefront is their attempt at continuity as their stand faces an uncertain future. Unfortunately, I don’t think the food is quite good enough compared to other tacos available today. The carnitas were not moist enough and did not have much flavor. They also loaded my tacos with onions and cilantro to an absurd level. That said, they are very cheap tacos. The staff were nice. The shop was small but a fine place for lunch. It was pretty smoky in there at the time.”

“The carnitas were a little dry but the flavor was good. We also enjoyed the chips and salsa. The sauce on the chili relleno was a little too sweet for my tastes but the actual pepper was great. Portion sizes are a bit smaller than at other Mexican food restaurants in the area.”

“Best Steak Breakfast Burrito I’ve ever had, and I have had many. I travel all over the country for work, and I’m always looking for a great breakfast burrito. I’m so happy to have found this place in my home state. The ingredients were higher quality and there was more flavor in this burrito than anywhere else I’ve had in Utah, or, well anywhere in fact. The portion size was perfect, and it wasn’t overfilled with potatoes and lacking on the egg. They also have a great pico mixture with cilantro added in that other places typically don’t do. It was seriously perfection in my opinion. If want a great breakfast burrito, this is the place to go.”

“I was recommended a while ago to come because of the Lobster Mac and Cheese. I was finally able to come and it was great! The Lobster mac and cheese was great! We also ordered fish and chips and a caprese salad. I was there during a University of Utah game and it was a fun atmosphere. I ended up eating outside since the weather was still good and it was less noisy. People were having a great time and enjoying the different games everywhere! I totally recommend this place! Update: I took some friends and my husband on a non-game date and we ordered some other food. Everything is delicious! Hands down I recommend everything!”

“I think I've found a new favorite spot for Mexican food in Salt Lake. Was on this side of town and a friend suggested Tres Hombres. What a pleasant surprise. Their food was incredible and their staff was very accommodating to my weird requests. The ambiance was laid back and genuine to the culture that their food represents and the overall experience was exactly what a relaxed weekend meal should be! Keep up the good work, I will be back!!!”

“Their lunch combinations are an excellent value. I am leaving 4 stars on account of inconsistency in quality among the menu items. Their soups and rice? Excellent! Appetizers? Also excellent. My favorite entrees are the snowball shrimp and beef brocolli. They're perfect and the portions are generous. My least favorite entrees are the garlic chicken and the curry. These two items are overly oily and bland.”

“I love this place! The food, the ambiance, but mostly the people! Always accommodating and friendly. As a retired chef entrepreneur I can only imagine the hardship everyone concerned has had to endure during this Pandemic. For myself if I'd still been in business these times would have destroyed me financially as they have done to so many local businesses. The name is still on the sign, in recent weeks there has been some activity including installation of a new fence along the north wall, the website is still up and the phone still rings even though unanswered for whatever reason - all an indication to me the Stella Grill is committed to it's patrons and community - they haven't given up. There might have been some miscommunication with Google about current operating status or delay in updating the website - who can fault anyone about any of these things during these trying times. Everyone has been under duress. I have every hope they will survive and reopen. Hang in there Stella Grill family! I'll be one of your first customers - be it curbside take out or social distanced dining. So ready for a burger, fries and friendly faces! Take care, stay safe! See you soon!”

“Basil chicken, had to search for the basil, my inability is disappointing. Finally resolved to add some fresh basil to the 3 pieces in there myself and called it then basil chili. (Did I say it was a bit spicy, though never asked if I want mild over the phone. I guess if one ventures to eat Thai, then d—- it better you eat it the Thai way... with three chilies in the spice photo) Pad kimo has always been a noodle dish in the past experience but here is rather a stir fry and served with rice, which gave someone a 2am stomach cramp. Would drunken noodle have been better? It’s a bit too early to philosophize.”

“Greek salad is the bomb! I only have 30 minutes for lunch. I hit this place just in time to order and get out. Mad Greek is always busy. Cars lined up around the building. Stop in, the menu has what you want. The salads are generously portioned.”
