The food was really good, the music and service was great! The staff is very attentive, had great recommendations, and always kept the drinks full. And my daughter loved the fish tank.

To be fair, I don’t think the place has been open long enough to work out all the wrinkles. Definitely make a reservation if you want to dine in on busy days. That may even be a Wednesday evening so call ahead regardless. Check out the pics. We waited a year for this to open, but based on our experience it wasn’t worth the wait.

We opted to try to avoid the 1-hour wait for a table by taking a table on the bar side. That was a mistake for many reasons. We got our water and then no other attention. The person never came back to take our food order. Maybe they don’t serve food there. After waiting about 20 more minutes of being passed by and ignored, we thought we would try to go order take out. Yet that may be only available for online orders since no one was there to take any orders. No one was at the take out area — period. We were about to leave and go home when a nice server asked us if we needed some help.

We were able to place an order with her, and we were told they would get us a table. So nearly an hour after our arrival, we did finally get a table. The food also takes quite a bit of a wait to arrive and that may be a big cause for the long seating times.

The food has a lot of room for improvement. Presentation was promising. Yet… We thought this place would deliver more than a franchise diner experience, and deliver a better taste & culinary treat based on the prices on the menu and such a grand entry way.

Our best dish: The Philadelphia roll was tasty with the smoked salmon. Worst dish ordered: We went with a gluten free Cilantro Lime Chicken, yet the rice had large clumps in it that turned out to be simply rice like that found at the bottom of the cooker when cooked too long. The chicken was dry on the skewers. I had the Macadamia Crusted Chicken with Miso mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes tasted like plain mashed potatoes. The Miso must be very subtle and it could be in the bit of sauce on the top. The chicken tasted a little greasy. We had a coupon that cut down on the cost. Otherwise, we would have been very disappointed. The service with Andrea made it a little more palatable. I don’t know if I would want to spend nearly $100 with tip for two people for this quality. So … on to our next dining experience. Maybe it was just an abnormal Wednesday since I have read other great reviews for this place.

Honest review: my family dines a lot and I grew up in Asia and have worked as a cook in restaurants. I travel a lot and eat at high end restaurants so I had high expectations. Made reservations for my wife’s Birthday. For how much you pay I thought the food would be better. They got us a table pretty fast, the service was awesome and our young server was outstanding and very knowledgeable of the menu friendly and had a good sense of humor . The rolls we ordered and steak was ok and it wasn’t bad but I have to say I have had better in other places which I paid less. Great atmosphere. The potatoes were good but a couple was not cooked all the way and the server didn’t tell us the specialty butter was extra money at $14 per each steak. The customers need to be informed of that. It got busy pretty fast. Would I come back and dine here? I know the restaurant just opened so it’s to be expected. I think next time, I will bring my co-workers here when they visit and see how it is. .

The food was pretty great overall . Our service was lovely. They had a DJ, and the music was so loud we couldn't really talk over dinner.
We all ordered different things and we had a large variety of food.
The meatballs were so fantastic, not dry, and had a crisp edge.
The tuna tartar was excellent!

Fun atmosphere, great service, delicious food! So happy to have a place like this on the west side at Mountain View.

The butter cake was our favorite, it was crunchy on the outside, moist and warm on the inside, perfect combination. Will definitely order this again.

I got the stir fry and while it was yummy, it was way spicier than I expected and I couldn't finish it. Next time I'll get the macadamia crusted chicken, someone else in our party got it and it was absolutely delicious. My husband got the New York strip and says it's one of his favorite steaks in the valley.

Shout out to Helen, our server! She was fantastic. We'll be back!
