This is one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommended. I've eaten here several times since they've opened and it's always been awesome.
The French Dip sandwich, Street Tacos, Shepard's Pie, Fish and Chips, and all of the appetizers I've tried are all excellent. The huckleberry lemonade is quite good too.
We've tried a couple desserts and they are all high quality as well. Definitely rich, and for sure something that could be shared. Good to keep in mind.
Management is often on hand and clearly very interested in providing excellent service and good food. It's refreshing.
Service was excellent. From the hostess to the waitress we had a great experience.
In terms of the food, what we got was mediocre. The fish and chips were fine, nothing to write home about (and for the price was disappointing). The meat in the chicken and beef street tacos was incredibly dry. Made it hard to eat. Outside of that I think it would have tasted great. The fish taco was the best out of the three.
For the price point and what we got, not sure we would be coming back.
Food was great. Didn't wait long between ordering and eating. Got the crab stuffed rock fish. Crab was a little fishy and the rock fish was a little dry but overall loved the pairing with the mashed potatoes. Our server was great and kept the drinks full. Checked in the right amount of times and provided great recommendations for appetizers and main course.
Got a chance to go here for the first time the other night with a group of friends and had a great time. The only reason this is getting four stars is we had to go through three different beer choices before finding one that was actually in stock. The ambience was great and the staff was fantastic. everybody ordered different dishes and nobody was upset as the food was delicious overall. We will definitely be back and hopefully they can update their menu or keep their drinks selections in stock.
This is my second time coming here. Our first time was mediocre but was hoping for a better experience this time. Our waitress did not know the menu at all. She was most likely new but definitely poor training. We would tell her we wanted something and then she would have us point it out to her on the menu.
We got the calamari to start which was way over cooked and chewy. I got the seafood chowder which was way fishy and loaded with butter. My son got the Cajun fish tacos. They were probably the best out of everything. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning. For the price there are definitely better restaurant options.
