Free Wheeler Pizza

I'm a regular customer. Pretty good pizza and friendly drivers. Have had a couple of problems in the past, notably with Hawaiian pizza. They put the Canadian bacon under the cheese, so it tends to slide all over. Delivery times vary, but usually arrive within an hour.

All around pretty good, but I feel they could do a little better on quality assurance. Still, much much better than any box chain like Pizza Hut or Dominoes.

Update: Ever since the pandemic, the quality of the pizza has declined. It's still a pretty decent pizza, but of the pizzas I have ordered since, the crust has been notably thin, particularly in the center of the pizza. It's not strong enough to hold up the slice, even when folding the slice in half. The slice will just flop which causes the toppings, cheese, and sauce to slide off very very easily. It's even difficult to eat it when supported with a fork. Because of the thin crust (mind you I order just a regular crust), the tomato sauce makes the dough soggy and even softer. This has happened on just about every pizza I've ordered since April. Because of this, I've dropped my rating by one star. They can and have done better in the past.

Here are the deets that I feel some people neglect to add when leaving reviews. I’ve never had Free Wheeler Pizza and I do rely on reviews to help me find the best fit for the occasion. We chose to go with these guys because the reviews seemed promising. The time we waited was exactly the time they said it would take. We chose the Three cheese pizza and were extremely impressed. Me and my husband are huge pizza fans and can eat a whole pizza to ourselves so I was sure if the 12” we ordered would be enough. It was perfect for us two and came with 8 small-medium slices. It wasn’t greasy like you would assume a three cheese pizza would be and the marinara sauce was absolutely delicious!! We did have to remind the delivery guy about our soda but I won’t hold it against them for that. The food and the service was great and I highly recommend.

Free Wheeler Pizza has been around forever and a day! Always, always the best pizza in the neighborhood. I live a block away from the Pie ñ picked up the Mediterranean 14" pizza tonight. It is fantastic! I can taste the olive oil that was used on this. The sun dried tomatoes went really well with this pizza. All of the toppings are fantastic. I love how FWP takes special care to cook your pie well done when you ask. They have the best crust recipe for making a pie well done. Chewy, crispy, crusty, just the right thickness, and it held all the toppings on the pizza after it cooled a tad. The piping hot pizza is tempting but word to the wise: let it cool a few minutes. Save your mouth from hot topping burn.

Brilliant food and my new vote for Best Pizza in Utah. Has the size, taste, and fresh ingredients you want in your pie, but without an inch of cheese smothering them. Protip: Their deliver drivers are great... skip the third-parties and order directly from their website.
