Saffron Valley - Avenues

Went for dinner, and enjoyed the Tikka Masala. Samosas came out hot and tasty. I want to come back at lunch and try their buffet.

Out of home for a week and that home cooked food craving was so perfectly fulfilled at Saffron Valley.... the ambiance is very classy n colonial, food was super delicious and the service was very prompt , that’s why 5 stars . During these Covid times , they were following all the guidelines. We ordered , hariyali paneer, Daal tadka, paneer gravy , garlic naans and cheese garlic naan and Gulab jamuns , each and every dish was yummy. And our server , Manish was very soft spoken and courteous. Our first time in Salt Lake City , and our first dinner , will be remembered for all the good reasons ??

This place was really good and they were open for the 4th which is when we went. It was really nice to be able to go out and have dinner. This was our first time at this location and it was amazing. I ordered medium just in case it was a little spicy but it actually was pretty mild. I’ll definitely order hot next time for some extra spice. The food was amazing and I highly recommend the sweet and nutty naan bread.

Our medium spicy dishes had no spice at all and one was lukewarm. We asked for something to make it spicier and they took them both and remade them for us. Ended up with the perfect amount of spice, hot temperatures and full of flavor. Well done. We will be back.

I am so impressed with this colonial style Indian eatery. After a little blip in my past experience, which must have been majorly because I visited at a time of it under renovation; this place has scored again. The buffet selection is incredible, the interiors so classy and reminiscent of an era which shaped a lot of Indian cuisine. Totally looking forward to many more visits.
