Village Baker

They always have good food. Today we lucked out and got somebody else's order, I didn't find out till we got home. It was delicious, sorry to the people who got my order but I now have a new favorite.

We placed an online order under the impression that curbside pickup was available because we called and the recording did say curbside pickup was offered. We called when we got there and were told that curbside pickup wasn’t offered and we could come in and get our food. While this was confusing, I asked if they’d please bring the food out and the guy on the phone didn’t even hesitate and was more than willing to bring the food out. The food was great as always, but I do wish that it was easier to find restaurants that offered curbside pickup, since that’s the only way I’ll order from restaurants during these times. I’m still not sure if curbside pickup is really offered at this village baker like the call recording says, but I’m grateful that they would bring us our food when we arrived.

They have really good sandwiches. I especially love the honey white and honey wheat bread. The turkey avocado sandwich is my favorite. The raspberry chicken salad is good too.

EDIT: the manager reached out to us and offered some replacement meals. We had low expectations but they. Were. Delicious. I had the turkey cranberry sandwich and it was one of the best I've had. I wasn't a fan of the broccoli cheese soup but my husband loved the chicken cordon blue pizza. The brownie was unbelievable! We'll definitely be going back and I don't think I can ever order anything but the turkey cranberry sandwich, it's that good. Thank you village Baker!

I want to make clear that the girl who gave us our order was extremely sweet and wonderful.

We received an online pickup order with some mistakes. I got the wrong salad dressing and my salad had tomatoes, which I asked to be removed. My sandwich didn't have mustard and was pretty flavorless because of that. I did like the bread, though! My husband got the correct order but wasn't a fan. We would try other items but we don't want to get another incorrect order.

This is a good little restaurant. They have a variety of food options, along with lots of desserts and homemade breads. They have pizza, sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. The food was very tasty and the portions were large. The service was pretty fast and friendly. The restaurant layout was clean and modern. Parking was plentiful and free.
