Oakley Diner

It's great to eat here and enjoy the great food with friends.

My wife and I took our 3 young kids with us for breakfast after seeing that the diner had recently reopened. The inside has been updated while preserving the original feel of the diner. Upon checking in, the 5 of us were seated in a booth for 4 with only two place settings, so things got tight. No one ever brought us additional silverware even after we mentioned it, so we took it upon ourselves to get our own. My wife got the breakfast burrito and thought it was delicious, albeit slightly overpriced for its size. I got a Denver omelet with a pancake on the side. My food was not particularly warm. The omelet tasted good despite not being hot, the hash browns were burnt, and the pancake was just ok. Our kids got chocolate chip pancakes and loved them.

Overall, the atmosphere was great, the food was OK (probably would have been better if the temperature of it was right), and the service was pretty bad. That gets a 3 star in my book.

Absolutely beautiful! We are so thrilled the diner is finally open! We have been a few times since they have reopened and have been very impressed each time! Kids menu is awesome, Oakley burger and messy burger are incredible! Very happy to have such a great restaurant nearby. We will be frequent patrons! Thank you Steve and Jana! My husband and I visited the Oakley Diner this past weekend. We were so impressed with how great the ambiance was! I ordered the Oakley Burger and my husband had the Reuben. Wow. Both were fantastic. The burger is massive and messy (in the best way possible.) The Reuben wasn't dry, with great pastrami and flavor. Our food was much more flavor elevated than expected from diner-level food. We decided to round out our meal with a strawberry milkshake and cookies and cream milkshake. Both were great and easy to drink through a straw like a proper milkshake. We went during their soft opening and were expecting some hiccups but were pleasantly surprised to get quick, friendly service with food on the table much faster than even some restaurants that have been open for much much longer. I will be making the trek up to Oakley again for another fun dining experience.

Stopped by the diner with my family and we had the best time! The diner feels so classic, the staff were fun, and dont get me started on the food. I got the all american burger and I will be getting it again as soon as I can stop by for round 2!
