My husband and I both got the original sandwich combo with spice level mild and it was barely spicy (which we liked). HOWEVER, DRINKS DON’T COME WITH THE COMBO, just the sandwich and the fries which I thought was low key cheap/lame. BUT the food was delicious - well balanced spicy and sweet (the sauce that comes with the fries is sweet with a hint of heat and the fries have seasoning with sugar on them). The staff was excellent as well!

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had but boy oh boy do they bring the spice! I wish I knew ahead of time how legit their spices were here. The employee told me Medium is the best one for those who love spice without ruining the sandwich. I still ordered the Spicy. He was right. Despite how good that sandwich was, I could only finish half because it was so hot and I am one who LOVES spicy food.

Next time, I'm sticking with Medium and I will definitely be back. It's a small joint so if you go during lunch don't plan on getting a seat. They need outdoor seating and certainly have the space for it.

I recently visited Houston Hot Chicken and coming from Cali I have high expectations regarding Nashville hot chicken.

I ordered the "hot" level of spiciness and it was more of a medium. The chicken was cooked well, fried but still juicy. The heat was intense but not overwhelming, and the flavor was unique, a bit of a sweet flavor compared to other chicken places. I also appreciated that they offered a range of spice levels to cater to different tastes. The shakes were a good size and value. The cheese was also plentiful on the fries and sandwiches. Overall I’d place this somewhere in the middle of places when it comes to hot chicken, but it’s great to have a halal hot chicken option in Utah finally so I definitely appreciate that even though it’s not very central or nearby salt lake.

Came with friends to see how hot this really is. It's a stand in line, order, then sit and wait then they bring the food to you kind of place. Not really fast food but not sit down and be served. But the food is served fast!
I love the crinkle fries. I can't think of anywhere else that's the same kind of restaurant that serves these. They were hot and crispy. I found the more I had, the more the seasoning seemed too much. So be careful.
I got the "medium" spiced original chicken sandwich. Amazingly it wasn't as hot as I would have expected. Next visit will have to just jump to Liftoff. But the sandwich was very good! Huge piece of chicken!
The wife got the Southwest salad and no spice chicken. Bland. But when you say, no spice, it will be bland. Otherwise, it was a good dish for her. It came in a small tightly filled container so it was hard to mix it up and get a good fork full of everything. Would be nice to see this in a bigger container so it can be 'all shook up'.
Overall, it was a great experience. The place is way too small and even after it's been open a couple months, the crowd is still large. Granted it was dinner time on a Saturday, but still.
    I will be back!

Overall the food was tasty and the employees very welcoming.

    1. the fries could’ve been a bit more crispy.
    2. the chicken had flavor and was very spicy for what I selected BUT that spice level ruins the enjoyment of the food.
    3. they ran out of my selected shake (cookie monster), which was disappointing.
    4. the frozen lemonade was given to us in slushy form, which was explained to me.
    5. finally the chicken and waffle sandwich was delicious but the waffle breaks down as you’re eating it.

customer service was pretty good as I arrived during a very busy time. the dining room was packed with customers waiting for their food.

restaurant environment was kept up well just crowded at that time.

but good job and I’ll be back for sure.
