Halfway House

Good prices and service and great food.

Halfway House made us feel like we were family with them for an hour. Fantastic people, great food, and an all around wholesome and fun experience. We unfortunately live a few hours from here so can’t make it a regular outing, but if we find ourselves here again, it will be a definite stop.

The first diner I've been to in ages that still felt like a proper diner without feeling like some corporate branding attempt at "the 50s." The feel is legit. The food was delicious. And the service was top notch. My only regret is that I've driven past this place so many times before finally stopping in.

Really nice experience here. Food was good, especially the poutine, and the portions were reasonable. Service was pretty quick and the waitress was friendly. The booths were a bit cramped. Overall, good experience.

The food was great! My wife and I stopped here for lunch - I got the mozzarella sticks and she got chicken tenders. She's a connessieur of chicken tenders and she says they're some of the best she's had! The waitress seemed very new but was definitely friendly and an older lady (I'm assuming the owner) was also friendly. Good home cooking small town diner!
