    Pricey as all get out, this is a place to get a few shareable plates, maybe a drink, and dine outside, because the inside was really really loud.
    The desserts are nice.
    The menu's French fare is delightful, with escargot, and creme brulée.
    You'll enjoy the cozy atmosphere and top notch service staff in the heart of downtown Vergennes.
    My only caveat is the noise level, which could be helped by reducing party sizes, not allowing children under 10, and removing a couple of tables.

    We were passing through and stopped because the outdoor seating caught our eye. Wow was the food delicious! We had the pork dumpling wraps for starters, and the balsamic Brie and bacon chicken and the grilled salmon with pineapple salsa for entrees.

    Very good food..kind of a loud environment,like a tavern.. the prices are a little high for the portion size.. but overall a good experience..

    If you are in the area, Black Sheep Bistro is an absolutely incredible place to eat. The food is a just a hair on the pricier side (all entrees are $22) but it is delicious and the fact they bring family style mashed potatoes and French fries for the table make it more than worth it. The balsamic, bacon and brie chicken breast is one of my all time favorite dishes.

    Black Sheep is the place to go if you are looking for a great meal in the area.
