“Taco Bell in Kentucky Fried Chicken I go there for the chicken mostly and nine out of 10 times they don't give you the right pieces in your order or you order something and they forget to put it in the bag. I don't know why they call it Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Most of the time you can't get what you want their chicken or Taco Bell they either run out or dust don't have it.”

“Went for lunch had a pastrami and kraut on rye (6.50)a regular fry3.50 and a soda3.00, total was 14 and change , sandwich was really good with the grilled marble rye, kraut and enough pastrami, next time I'd add cheese onion and mustard and it would be amazing, fries were good, soda was 3 bucks that's too much for a soda but whatever I hear ya, next time went back and got a coffee shake a bacon cheeseburger got home and no bacon, can't forget the bacon please, still get a four star but no way not five until I get my bacon!”

“It was a journey back in time to the classic diner experience. We arrived for a late lunch and still had to wait for a table. Beware aware that the place is small so the booths are a tight squeeze for 4 adults, but there is plenty of parking. I was surprised by the extensive menu. And be sure to check out the board and the wall because it's not all on the printed menu. We all enjoyed our turkey burger, hamburger steak with all the fixings and a southwest-type sandwich. Not sure how I managed to save room for some strawberry-rhubarb crisp. Service was quick and friendly. Hope to come back for breakfast sometime. Although it is served all day. **cash only**”

“It's quite enchanting with its cross of rustic decor and rather a formal appearance on the other end of the eatery. The food was hand prepared and you certainly couldn't say that you were still hungry after your meal. We had a young man with us who was at the ripe old age of 2 1/2 yrs old and he loved it and we all felt quite welcome!!”

“It's easy to find a good hand made pizza for $25 at a restaurant. Easier still to find a bad microwave pizza in the freezer section for $8. For years this particular Domino's has consistently and correctly served me hot, delicious handmade pizza with an online deal that makes a 3 topping large pizza $8.71 including tax. I'll be loyal as long as they don't change a thing (besides adding more tasty options!)”

“Great food and cocktail selection, and a very cute place. Might have just been tonight but service was really bad, and I'm normally not one to complain on a Saturday night out. Everything we ordered from the bar we had to order twice because it would either be forgotten or wouldn't make its way to the kitchen. Not the bartenders' fault but you could tell they were running out of glasses. I'm not sure if the guy with the long goatee is the owner, but he was super cranky and giving my mom a hard time when she was getting seats at the bar. The pate and cheeseboards are great, so I'll definitely be back and am expecting a better experience based on other reviews. Will update if so.”

“Very cute and quaint diner! I had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and they were delicious! Very generous sides of toast and always a full coffee cup. The diner is on the small side, which makes you feel right at home, but the tables were packed on a Wednesday morning, so they definitely know how to bring in the customers! I decided to withhold a star for the lack of fresh fruit, but they said that once they get the fruit, no one orders it, so get the fruit! All in all, a very well put together, small scale breakfast diner.”

“Serves breakfast, light lunch, and desserts. Food is EXCELLENT! I'm not sure if it is all homemade, but it is high quality and delicious. Today I had chicken salad on a spinach bagel with Thai chicken soup. Both were very good. I didn't get dessert, but did sample a few of them- the carrot cake was amazing! It has only four tables to sit at, so it is not a huge place. Parking is mostly on the street, but there are three spots on the Safford street side. I will be visiting again soon!”

“Definitely a must if in the area. While a little pricey by small town standards the overstuffed sandwiches were incredible. The homemade soups were very satisfying as well. The staff was quite quick and courteous. It was a very pleasant diversion from your typical lunch fast food offerings, which in Bennington are limited as well. Thankfully we stopped here and will be returning again soon.”

“Great stop heading back east from NY on Rt 9. Food was fresh and service okay. Restrooms were clean, and the atmosphere comfortable, and pretty quiet. Stopped here to keep a happy wife, who wanted to stroll around a bit on main St, as well as get a bite to eat. Great little town. Nice shops and generally friendly people.”
