“Went here with my parents as part of our Vermont Vacation on August 29th 2023. It was a long ride from South Hero, VT where we stayed. However, it was very quiet and very beautiful. The views of the water are great, and one can even swim at your own risk if you want. (i didn't, but just putting it out there!) I found the sign in the front of the shrine a bit rude which said "due to this being a place of worship, proper attire is required". We didn't see anyone that enforced this, but i found it rude because some people just travel up there as peaceful tourists, and may not be religous either. Cool that there is an outdoor church. There is also buildings with a gift shop and restrooms, and a little musuem. the restrooms were very clean, which is good. the musuem was interesting as it mentioned that the french had church at that location then abandoned it. Also enjoyed the history about Samuel De Champlain, in which the Lake is named after. enjoyed the history part the most.”

“Oliver Bailey, co-founder of Baileys Barn and also our wonderful waitress, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our time dining there. Would definitely recommend this Mexican restaurant for anyone in the Panell Rd area, and I will definitely be dining here again.”

“Absolutely Delicious and wonderful. The owner waited on us, and told us that all of the donuts were from their own personal recipes. They had some AMAZING choices, we chose the maple iced donut. It was INCREDIBLE!!! Service, food, and atmosphere were all wonderful. We WILL be back!!! I loved all of the Homer Simpson decor and told the owner this, he said "Who loves donuts more than Homer?" AGREED!!!”

“A great little store on the main drag. We went there to get a couple sandwiches and they were happy to make what we wanted. They have lots of over-the-counter and homeopathic and herbal medicines, as well as a supply of kitchen goods and groceries and a nice deli in the back. They happily made a gluten-free version of one of their menu sandwiches, the turkey and guacamole" California" sandwich. They also had gluten free brownies & cookies. We were able to pick sandwiches, chips, and cookies to go and find a park across the river and enjoy our lunch.”

“Erin and Pierre have opened a fantastic coffee shop in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. They are both super welcoming and have designed a great space to meet with friends or study. I spent 4 hours there today and was able to observe their consistently warm interactions with customers throughout. For menu items, I enjoyed a single origin pour-over coffee; it was spot on for both intensity and flavor. The ricotta toast (with strawberries and honey) was excellent as was the cinnamon roll (which will certainly be ordered again soon).”

“We had a delicious meal and drinks at Fancy's! My wife and I went there for dinner on "Opening Night." What a great addition to the Old North End neighborhood. From the minute we walked inside, I appreciated the atmosphere and vibe of the place. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and engaging. There was a nice mix of seating options, from window seats to tables. And the people at the other tables all seemed to be having fun. We were seated immediately and the waitstaff brought us glasses of "spa water." The menu was well-balanced with small, medium, and large plates. Our appetizers and drinks came out quickly. The mocktails and cocktails were unique and refreshing. Each dish we got was a work of art. My personal favorite item was the grape leaves. For dessert, we had a piece of cake and creemee twists. Although coffee is not on the menu, the bartender David went out of his way and kindly brewed me a cup to go along with our treats. The desserts were an absolute showstopper. I ended up getting a second piece of cake to go. Since our meal at Fancy's, I keep thinking about what I'm going to get next time. I look forward to going there again for dinner, but I can also imagine myself popping by for a drink or grabbing a creemee with the neighborhood families. Fancy's was an absolute hit!!”

“First of all the 3 gentleman that run this kitchen are great people. We were one of the last orders of the night so we got to chat with them. The owner is very passionate about his food and the quality. The food is very good and fresh. The dishes taste amazing and very unique. We will be back often. The area to wait is small so just be aware of that. The wait can sometimes be a couple hours but it's 100% worth it. All I can say is plan ahead. Thank you so much for creating a great food place in Milton VT!”

“After following them on Instagram for a while and being impressed by their content, I couldn't resist trying their maple syrup. Even though I'm from Castleton, making the trip to their place was worth it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they sell it in Woodstock. Their maple syrup is hands down some of the best in Vermont. Plus, the owners' content is not only kind and wholesome but also adds a personal touch to the whole experience.”

“Not only are the grilled cheese tortillas unreal, the meat inside the tacos is top of the line; full flavor and just the right juice. Good hot sauces too. Don't think just stop.”

“Fantastic atomosphere, and the food is just absolutely insane. It was the best sandwich I've had in the last few years for certain. I ordered "the Ruby" which was as amazing as it sounds and was happy to see a vegan option! The bread is top tier and really makes the sandwich. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. My only complaint is I wish they were open more hours or on the weekend for all us weekly 9-5 workers. Can't wait to go here again.”

“All this and two beer for under 60 USD. We found it to be a deal. The food was very flavorful, but nothing overpowering. Although the service was friendly, that's where it stopped. Some smiles and a friendly hello would have gone a long way. I definitely do recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Mexican food.”

“Probably one of the best fried chicken in BTV! You can order online, thru the kiosk or the counter. Ordered an 8 piece fried chicken. Took about 15 minutes which was not bad. Chicken was good, crispy and juicy! They have variety of sauce for the chicken but it is in a small container(not enough for an 8 piece!). Luckily the chicken is good enough that it doesn’t need any sauce.”

“Every time I have ordered from Harmony's Kitchen the food has been incredible. She has the best fried chicken in Vermont, and the sides are always delicious. Harmony catered an event I hosted for work last spring; everyone loved the food. The only complaint was we ran out too soon! Harmony and her team were great to work with, nothing but professional, organized, and came with delicious food!”

“We had great catering experience with Deven and the team. We ordered catering for a 12-day event and our team was very happy with the hearty and delicious meals we received for both breakfast and lunch. They delivered the orders to our location and responsive to our feedback throughout the process. We recommended Early Bird Catering wholeheartedly!”

“If you have not yet been to Magic Chopstick at the bottom of St. Paul Street, you have got to try their beef Lanzhou noodle soup and beef tendons in chili oil. OMG the hot broth outside in the cold is amazing. They have indoor seating of course but I wanted to eat hot soup outside and the weather is perfect. The broth is so full of flavor and warms the soul. The beef is so tender. The noodles are so soft. The beef tendons in the chili sauce is also amazing. It's got a little bit of kick to it. As someone who is weak to spicy food this is the perfect level for me. The owner did bring out a jar of chili oil in case I needed it, but I am not the kind of Asian who can tolerate slice well so I i am enjoying it as is. They also have bubble tea which is delicious. They also have soup dumplings which I will definitely get next time.”

“Well, I’m glad to have a Little Caesar’s closer to Burlington. I’ve visited this new location twice so far and have always been somewhat disappointed. Of course, Little Caesars as a chain is naturally hit or miss. Both counter employees I’ve been served by have seemed bored and/or stressed while working. Again, that’s natural I guess, but it’s always nice to meet a genuinely warm and friendly person while getting one’s dinner, and I’ve not yet experienced that here. The prices are significantly higher than Little Caesars in other regions, expect to be paying $10 for a pizza or $15 if getting bread as well. When my pizza was pulled ‘hot and ready’ from their warmer behind the counter it seemed it had been in there for 20 mins despite it being around peak time on a Saturday night. Was deflated and dry, disappointing for the price. Might have gone back to ask for a remake if the employees had seemed a bit warmer interacting with customers. Another time I had the italian cheese bread, which was woefully underseasoned compared to any other time I’ve had that in other states.. The inside is sparkling new and always appears clean. They do have the pizza pick-up box where you can scan a code to get your pizza yourself. For the price, Dominos seems like a better pizza in this area, unless you specifically ask for your Little Caesars pie to be made fresh when you arrive.”

“Great service and great food! I suppose the pulled pork in the Cuban sandwich is a nod to the Mexican side of the house, but I happen to prefer it to the traditional roast pork. I'm not sure about the heritage of the crinkle cut fries, but they were tasty as well. Quesadillas and street taco were also great, and the prices were quite fair.”

“Takeout was ready on time. Food very fresh. Ginger chicken has a variety of vegetables, not just carrots and onion like some other restaurants. Loved the Pad Thai Spring roll was huge and fresh. Lots of basil in the center. Came with two tasty dipping sauces: one a soy/hoisin base, another peanut with a little five spice. Tasty and reasonably priced.”

“I honestly didn't know what to expect. I was not a particular fan of Indian and Nepali cuisine but I am now. This place blew my mind. Every dish we ordered was spectacular. There were so many options but each item seemed to be so thoughtfully crafted. The sauces and the flavors were divine and the food itself didn't seem too salty. The food got to our table quickly. The basmati rice was perfect and the noodles of my vegan chow mein were amazing. I will say the food may be spicier than you might expect - even medium spicy was pretty hot for me. The prices were far lower than expected and the food was worth every penny. The inside of the restaurant was interesting and unorthodox and might even deter some folks but I can assure you the food was so incredible it did not matter. Can't wait to get food from here again and will likely try takeout next.”
