“I just stopped in the East Burke Market this evening, and I was taken by surprise. I was greeted as warmly as I could imagine. I was walked down the aisle as if I were a neighbor in need. They are thoughtful with the groceries and necessities that they offer, including local produce, syrup, etc. In fact, when I recommended that they transition away from an unethical company as their provider for chocolate chips, they immediately assured me that they would add another option just for me. I could not imagine a more wholesome and pleasant experience.”

“The overall experience is great! The many amenities given the reasonable price can't be beat. Indoors you have access to a kitchen, sitting room, and bike storage room. There is even an accessible shower that can be used after you've checked out. Outdoors there is a hot tub, a large seating area with table and patio area with chairs. There is also an area setup to sit around a fire next to the stream at the back of the property. You can even camp in the lawn for a lower rate than staying in a room. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a mountain biking trip.”

“YOU NEED TO STAY HERE!! The Inn is stunning and the staff there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect with views of the mountains and a quick drive to Lake Willoughby! Each room is decorated beautifully and is super clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a room that had a claw foot tub which was wonderful after a long day. I was able to have dinner at the spring house and the food was incredible. The complimentary breakfast served the next morning was amazing and was a full sized (would even say large) meal/portion which was a pleasant surprise since it was complimentary. They have a game room filled with some classics and a fire place which is a nice way to unwind at night or relax during the day. Honestly don't have any complaints, I highly recommend this Inn for a weekend get-away or to host your wedding or small event at. Worth every penny.”

“When at Burke Mountain the Tamarack Grill is a great place to go to. It offers a relaxing atmosphere by being above the main lodge and away from the general hustle and bustle. While the menu is not very expansive you will find something you like to energize yourself and get back on the slopes. The bar has an excellent lineup of beers on tap for you to enjoy. Be sure to step outside on the deck for some fresh air and a view of the mountain.”

“Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere. Arrived just after 4pm on a Thursday, ordered drinks and wings with the sauce on the side. Wings were delicious. My wife had the Cobb salad, I had the Salmon special. Both were amazing! During the meal, the chef came out and checked to see what I thought of the Salmon chutney sauce he had created that day, it was fantastic. It was fun to chat with him. Ended the meal with their brownie sundae, yummy! I enjoyed our meal and the experience, will be going back soon. Wish I had taken pictures, the presentation of the food was appetizing. If you have the chance, check this place out.”

“Everything from drinks, appatizer, main dishes to dessert was delicious. The flavor of the food was fresh and well prepared. I highly recommend getting a table outside on a beautiful Vermont summer evening. Our waitress Montana was friendly, efficient and extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes! I will definitely be going back!”
