“If you're really hungry and want a truly satisfying sandwich, Martone's is pretty hard to beat. Their large sandwiches, while a little pricey compared to the nearby Subway are huge. Like enough for 2 meals, huge! I don't know how they manage to pile them up so high and thick. The bread is fresh and delicious. Their meat is from Boars Head provisions and is truly amazing, by far, the best cold cuts around. They also have a lot of odd, yet interesting toppings available like hummus and a hot pepper relish that is outstanding. They also serve delicious gourmet coffee and often have kabobs and marinated steak tips prepared and ready for you to take home and grill yourself. They also offer fresh salads and some homemade baked goodies, too. The building itself is also really cool, and oozes atmosphere with it's high tin sealings and wide plank floors. Definitely a lot cozier and less sterile a setting than the local Subway, too.”

“The Tavern's location being next to Maple Ridge is the reason we tried them the first time. Wait staff are efficient especially considering it's been packed every time we've gone. The beer list is fantastic, as is every meal we've tried. We've never had a burger overcooked. The executive chef comes out to check that everything is good.
