We stopped in for dinner on our first night in Stowe. It was very busy. I think there was a wedding there but the staff handled the other patrons very well. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful! We sat on the patio under the heaters and it was very comfortable. The beer was great as well!
Gorgeous dining room, very large & cool outdoor seating with an outdoor bar. Great beers, love that they offer flights. I got the cheese ale soup which was divine! The chicken wings were good, i just prefer when the sauce is cooked into the meat and not so wet. The pretzel is HUGE and has such a cool presentation, enough for three to share. Great service.
My husband and I visited Idletyme Brewing Company during our visit to Stowe. We absolutely loved it! Chip was our waiter and very pleasant and attentive. Their beer selection and appetizers were outstanding! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather! We will definitely be back and highly recommend checking this place out!
We decided to try this place for lunch since it was just across the street from where we were staying. They were busy when we got there but we managed to get a table inside. The staff was very nice and our server was very attentive to our needs especially with what our son requested. I saw other families with small children, so I know this place is pretty kid friendly. Our son enjoyed his butter pasta bowl and some fries. My husband really enjoyed their Reuben sandwich and I liked their chicken BLT. We'll definitely come back again.
I visited Idletyme two weekends ago. We were visiting Stowe and rented bicycles to ride on the recreation path. We stopped for a drink - delicious Maple Lemonade and tried one of their sour beers. The atmosphere outside under two trees was lovely and the bartenders were very friendly. We decided to finish our trip there later with dinner. When we returned they were very busy and we were seated in the dining room. Very lovely inside! We waited for some time and eventually the inside bartender Christina (the mermaid is her nickname) noticed that we hadn’t been waited on. She quickly took care of us, taking our drink and food orders. She made a situation that could have been unpleasant into a great one. When we left I asked to speak to his manager about the service - Christina was awesome! Overall it was a great experience!
