Sunset Grille & Tap Room

Came in with my wife and 4 kids for dinner after a 6 hour drive (Kingston, Ontario).

We were seated promptly, suggestions given, orders taken. Food came out in reasonable time, hot, delicious, steak cooked perfectly on the surf and turf feature and whoever cleaned the mussels bravo. Working in the hospitality industry you know certain things to watch for. Great job front of house and kitchen. We will be back for sure.

Sunset Grille & Tap Room is a casual dining restaurant that serves simple fare. BBQ is their specially though their menu includes other items like burgers, wings and personal pizzas so there's a little something for everyone. We stopped in for dinner on a Monday evening and didn't have to wait to be seated. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. When he had to tell us they'd run out of shrimp for the day and our original entree selections weren't available, he was helpful in making alternate suggestions. Our food came out quickly and tasted good.

Food was decent and beer was good. Wish I had been hungrier to try their BBQ as it looked very good. Overall good service and nice atmosphere.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We(a group of 3) went for dinner at 5pm on a Friday. We where seated right away. That night they where doing a buffet, you could get nothing else. 25.99 per adult and 14.95 per child under 12. Food was very tasty beef ribs where delicious,bbq chicken was awesome too. They also had burgers, hot dogs,salad, mac &cheese, coleslaw bake bean. Overall a great place! Just wish they where severing their full menu ....ooh let not forget desert. Fried cherry cheese cake♡

If you are ever in Stowe, Vermont head west
on 108 to Cottage Club Rd until you get to Sunset Grille, there is no reason to go anywhere else. This family owned establishment has it all! Fantastic food, numerous choices of cold beer, great atmosphere and welcoming staff. Much thanks to Charlotte, Kris and Catherine who are great bartenders and very knowledgeable about the menu, they kept us coming back day after day while on vacation. They were attentive and so much fun! This is one of those great bars you hate to leave and will remember forever!!
