Stopped on for a take out pizza at the recommendation of hotel staff. Ordered a small Vienna. The price out the door was $19, but the taste was fantastic. Never thought balsamic vinegar would work on a pie...but it sure does. The acid-sweet balanced the olives wonderfully. Crispy thin crust. Loved it. The outside dining area looked fun with a large fire pit to enjoy.
Went for lunch and sat outside which was nice with the good weather. I had a salad which was good. What surprised me was their silly bread. I expected your typical bread sticks, but it was cut into a pretty pattern, which gave it nice crispy edges.
The food was delicious, I had the Stromboli which was really tasty with all the spices and it was melt in your mouth. Such a beautiful view on the patio. The service was fine, he did forget our drinks a couple times which was odd. It didn't seem busy enough for that to happen. If you plan on coming with 6 or more be aware the 15 or 18% gratuity will be added to your bill.
Love pie. Bartenders are always friendly and quick to help you out. Their pizza is the only kind I'll eat cause I don't normally like pizza. Garlic knots to DIE for. They won a bunch of the seven daisies this year and DESERVE it.
Went on recommendation of a local, who said it had the best pizza in the country. He wasn't far off. Wide range of choices, from full pies to slices. Great beer selection, friendly, helpful staff, fast service in a clean, interesting building. Loved it.
