“Grant’s Tavern is easily one of the most underrated spots in Stowe. I’ve stopped through a few times after a long day of skiing and they never disappoint. The wings and the poutine are fantastic and the drink menu does not disappoint, especially if you are a fan of craft beers and cocktails. Both the drink and food menus highlight the best of local vendors. The large space itself has a great ambiance and a variety of seating options both indoors and out (seasonally). The decor is reminiscent of an old New England tavern but with modern classiness and amenities. I recently attended a private group event here, and it was a wonderful evening. Grant’s worked with our group to create a curated drink menu (including cocktails such as the Mogulrita, Fresh Tracks, and the Yard Sale) and buffet that met our needs and budget. The staff was fantastic as always, and I will certainly be stopping through next time I go out for a drink with friends.”

“Love this bar!! Had to visit to see if it was like Bert's back home. This is an Irish pub owned by a very nice Colombian woman named Janet. Whenever you're in the area swing in for a cold drink, good food and fun people. Take time to read all the sayings that dot the walls. They are funny and some are a bit thought provoking.”

“Great dive bar for your last rounds. Though there is also a good chance you will witness a bar brawl”

“Cool little venue, big enough to not feel cramped but small enough to stay cozy. Friendly staff and prompt service. Clean restaurant with a young, hip vibe. Nice vinyl collection on display too... Stop in, don't miss this little gem of Stowe!”

“Great Mountain to ski at if you are a veteran skier or a rookie. This mountain really excels with families of all types of skill level but mainly young families or first time skiing families, there is three peaks, one peak is designated just for new to rookie riders! The other two mountains are for experienced to thrill seeking skiers. The prices to ski here are cheap compared to their competitors, this mountain is the best bang for your buck. But the low price comes at a cost, the base logs are not as glorious as say Sugarbush or Stowe, they are more just like traditional ski lodges. They have a bar, food, a place to sit down, TV and heat, in my opinion all that anyone skiing will need! Lodges 7/10, Trails 9/10, Staff 10/10, Housing 6/10.”

“Wonderful ambience, service was great, and delicious sushi and mac and cheese. Seating alongside the river which was amazing with the views and sounds of water. Relaxed casual atmosphere with pool tables. Server was excellent, informative, friendly, and professional. Unfortunately burger had to be sent back a couple times, but server was great.”
