“Very clean and felt warm and welcoming. Kid friendly. I had the south of the boarder burger and sweet potato fries, it was all VERY good! Very friendly service as well.”

“Finally some tacos I can look forward too! Don't get me wrong, other restaurants in town try their best but Taco X offers some unique street tacos with an incredible selection of sweet & spicy sauces. Don't be surprised when the tacos show up with just the meat, there's a full, Build Your Own Taco station, with all of the fixings you'll need! The selection is constantly changing and evolving, I just hope they keep the fresh chips coming! Great margaritas! Tasty beers! Comfy booths! Only thing on my wishlist would be a Homemade Guacamole bowl for the table (please!) Good luck - I'll keep coming if you keep cooking! Pricing is fair: $4-$6 per taco... I have found 2 tacos to be sufficient for myself! -Randy”

“Fantastic food and incredible beer selection. Super friendly and knowledgeable owners. You can really tell that they love beer and the food that goes with it. Had the Vermont Grilled Cheese with candied bacon. It was outstanding. Get the Four Quarters Waffle Star Stout - it comes with its own donut hole to dip in the beer. We will definitely go back and you should absolutely make it a stop during your visit to Killington. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Met some friends here, for lunch today. So happy that they chose this place - I hadn’t been here since it was the Pasta Pot! Have driven by numerous times but now I know to stop. What a great lunch!!!! Awesome BLT. Had the leftover for dinner and it was still wonderful. The desserts in the case were like pieces of art! I saw some photos of the cakes they have made and the work truly amazing.”

“This store is under new mgmt and they are doing an incredible remodel and expansion. Added fresh pizza and subs/sandwiches along with snacks and drinks, including adult beverages, to complete your lunch. Super friendly employees are always at the ready to serve you. Store will so be great when completed.”

“This is a great find in the middle of downtown Brandon. It's good food prepared well and reasonably priced. The menu items are fairly predictable american fare but they do add a little flair, prepare with care, provide service with a smile (Jessica) and the food comes out fast and accurate. This community is still in rebuild from the previous hurricane caused flooding and now the installation of a drainage system. But don't let that stop you or make you think twice. If you want a good tasting meal in a nice comfortable home town atmosphere, this is a good choice.”

“Great pizza, but sometimes I think they rush the cooking and then the toppings aren't fully cooked. Otherwise really good tho. Reasonable prices.”

“Our group of four made reservations at Cafe Provence just to be on the safe side. Memorial day weekend can be a busy time in Brandon VT. and it was! We made it right on time at 12:00 noon and were greeted by the host. Outdoor seating or inside seating was offered, we chose to be inside. Our wait person was friendly and very professional. She stated the specials and asked if we would like a refreshing drink. We all selected our happiness and viewed the generous menu. The "Brunch" menu can easily slip into an early dinner. Our party ordered and had casual conversation. Without much time passing along came our dining pleasure. Everything was prepared just perfect. Not one compliant to be heard. The portions met all if our desires. Wonderful culinary skills on every dish presented at our table. I might add the price was spot on. Thanks Cafe Provence for a terrific dining experience.”

“I came here on a whim from my dad after my campsite got rained out! All the hotels and inn in Middlebury were booked for the night and luckily this place still had an opening! Enjoyed my night there! Great WiFi service and the breakfast really was the bomb dignity! I loved it! If I’m ever in this area again I’ll stop in!”

“Clean, reasonably priced, and quiet. Stayed for one night on 3/24/19. Receptionist was pleasant. We had an upstairs room that had not been fully renovated yet, but was still very nice. Bed was comfortable. Food at the restaurant was good and priced well. We checked out early on Sunday, and there was no one available at the counter so I left the key in the room and left. Would definitely stay again.”

“Was in the area for work, not much around for food choices. Ended up trying this place out, and we came back every night for the rest of the trip!!! The owner is the man, and the atmosphere is awesome. Nice small town feel where everyone is your friend. Food is insane and his specials are awesome!!! If I could give ten stars I would!”

“This was our first trip to Mountain Top Inn & Resort. My niece Kelly had a destination wedding here. There is a reason this place is Vermont's Premier Destination Wedding Venue. Absolutely breathtaking! We stayed in the main lodge for 2 nights. With a restaurant on the ground floor we started each day with the buffet breakfast ($15 per guest) Great breakfast selections with a great view. On the second morning the glass doors opened and it was like you were eating outside. With a sunny summer morning as the backdrop it was the perfect start to the day. There is so much to do here we wish we had a few more days to enjoy such offerings as the Spa & Salon, Hot tub, Pool, Tennis, Disk golf, 740 acre lake with private beach( you are given a beach pass for your vehicle but the resort shuttles are the easiest way to get to the lake.) They offer Horseback riding and Clay target shooting for a fee. We went in the summer so I can't comment on the winter activities. The room was very clean with a very rustic feel. Bathroom and shower were high end. Waking early and looking out at the lake we were greeted with a few of mother nature's creatures. A few deer and wild turkeys were grazing in the field. The wedding itself was held on the knoll overlooking the resort. A view and backdrop that was nearly as beautiful as the bride. To sum things up...this place is worth every penny you'll spend.”

“I really like The Wheel Inn. Heavy helpings of good food. Great pies. Cold beer. The staff is great and local crowd is quite friendly. On more than one occasion I have received a complimentary beverage from another customer, and I don't know anyone in town. Seems characteristic of Benson, nice people. I stop in whenever I am in that neighborhood. Unfortunately I live quite a distance away, only travel that corridor, thus only visiting a couple of times per year. My compliments to The Wheel Inn and the people of Benson.”

“Great local food and friendly folks!! For a reasonable price, you can walk away with a full stomach. Also great place to chat with the locals on a weekend morning! Their slogan is "Food so good you'll think we stole your grandma!" And it's probably not too far off!”

“I gotta give this place a 5-star rating. The establishment is 90% bar and 10% grill, but the staff is 100% friendly. The menu is limited, but food was good and served quickly and with a smile. In fact, the bar tender that took our order and served us (and probably even cooked our meals) was more friendly and attentive that most wait staff at an upscale restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend.”

“Happen to catch this on my google maps for restaurants near by and I’m happy I did. Rolls were homemade and came out warm. The sweet tea tasted great. Salad was awesome. Dinner was super and then pecan cheesecake dessert to top it off. What more can I say. Definitely worth stopping in.”

“My wife and I ate here the first evening we arrived at Lake Bomoseen with our pooch. If you are looking for a dog friendly place to eat, this is an excellent one! We sat on the deck beside the water. The staff are super friendly and the food was excellent. I had the Vermont Club with house chips and my wife had the garden salad. We were afraid that the live music might be the typical loud conversation-killing tunes that are often served up by restaurants in the evening. But no! The "Shaky Pines" band played some mellow soothing folk music that enhanced the atmosphere. 5 stars!”

“Got the seafood platter and it was delicious. Excellent portions and speedy food. The only reason it is not 5 stars is due to the cool forgetting my appetizer and me getting it after I finished my entree.”

“Inexpensive, good food. Nice variety. They prepare small amounts so they have to replenish buffet often. Which is good. Keep s everything fresh. Always busy.”
