What a beautiful cafe and comfortable space to enjoy a drink! The staff are also wonderful and very warm and friendly and introduced me to their own hand ground chai latte that made me feel so cozy and happy. We got the smoke salmon pasty which was AMAZING and a must have! Light, flaky pastry with a perfect marriage of smoked salmon and cream cheese. The pork and parsnip meat pie was solid, and the rabbit gravy paired nicely with it. I've also never had such a perfectly poached egg in the salad. The food really was fantastic.

While i loved the quality food and whole idea of fresh wholesome sustainable eating, i had to take off 1 star because i would still expect a $14 salad to fill me up alone and have more than 1 piece of bacon and more leaves. I was glad that i had a heavy, filling and delicious meat pie to fill me up!

Counter servers were very friendly and efficient. The shop itself is lovely. Pies (pork and parsnip and a spinach and feta) were excellent, the Great British Bake Off would be proud. The pastries (a cookie and a fruit buckle) were quite good as well. Nice area to walk around in, too.

As soon as you walk in this place has a beautiful atmosphere. And you're greeted by a table full of amazing looking pastries stacked high.

the food menu isn't very extensive by the options that they have a very good and very diverse. The options are also very creative and absolutely delicious. very impressed with the food here even though it was a little bit more pricey definitely got my money's worth.

    Highly recommend this place.

Stopped in randomly for a quick snack while touring New England this summer. The fixtures and decor inside are a wonderful mixture of modern minimalism and cozy classic architecture. Fresh baked treats adorn rustic wooden platters, simple ceramic dishes and comfortable metal pans. The open floor plan reveals a bustling kitchen where cooks quickly prepare delicious locally-sourced ingredients to each customer’s order. The wafting aromas of baked goods, fresh meals and the namesake meat pies will entice even the most circumspect passers by. Service was pleasant and prompt- thoroughly enjoyed our treats and visit to the shop- will return again next time we are in the area. (I can't reply to the owner comment below but please do share on any site you like, thanks!)

Oh I really love this place, my wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal a flight of ciders, great coffee the carrot cake oh my god it was awesome. What Drew us to them was the traditional English meat pies and I saw that they serve pasties too but only during the week we were told. They make an excellent bloody Mary they substitute sake for the vodka, it could use a little more horseradish but it still was great. I cannot wait to go back again one day
