great food lovely sitting outside will be sure to come back.
love love love love ! The food was undoubtedly fresh and deliciously scrumptious! We scraped every bite from our bowls, definitely making it easier to wash that night! We had the lobster special, crab & lobster cakes, fried calamari, scallop linguine, and black pasta alfredo style with shrimp....and now my mouth is watering! I recommend making a reservation to ensure you can participate in the deliciousness of the food and kindness of the establishment!
Spent 3 nights in Woodstock. The first night we ate at the hotel. The next 2 nights we ate at The Daily Catch because it was so good! I myself, am not a fish person but the other 3 in our group are. After our first dinner, we all agreed we had to come back the next evening. The place and the wait staff are welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable vibe.
And then there's the food. Everything cooked to order and it was all fantastic. Pasta dishes are served in the pan and the sauces are superb. I had linguine alfredo with shrimp one time and linguine with scallops in red sauce the other. I can't decide which was better but both were better than the steak I had at the hotel. The very best thing was dessert on the 2nd night, Meringue with peaches and berries topped with vanilla cream, we all raved about it.
We found this place by how amazing it smelled as we walked by. The food is very well prepared, the monkfish in particular. The desserts are not to be missed.
By far, hands down the best fish I have ever had. Nice atmosphere, friendly severs. Definitely worth the stop
