The best Indian place in the area. So delicious! Even my picky toddler loved every bite.

Delicious food: plentiful servings and seasoned very well. Friendly and pleasant staff. Online ordering and curbside pickup were both easy and convenient. Definitely going to be a new staple for my family.

Love love LOVE this place. It rivals the best Indian restaurants we've eaten at around the world (never in India though). Very classy restaurant, and the food is top notch!
The naan is absolutely delicious. I usually order korma and/or shrimp appetizer and cauliflower appetizer. Our excellent waiter recommended a new appetizer to try, which we loved. We were too stuffed for dessert, but this is one of the few Indian restaurants where the dessert actually tempted me. It was our first time to sit inside the restaurant since covid and they nicely spread out all the customers. Sorry to say, but the other Indian restaurants in town can't hold a candle to Kanak!

Kanak is a delicious Indian restaurant along with excellent service. The staff is friendly and courteous and the service is top notch.
Their lunch menu is generous. They serve Nan, a vegetable side and rice along with the main selection. It also comes with a soup or salad.
Their entrees are superbly prepared and you can choose you level of heat.

During this pandemic, I would urge you to frequent this restaurant and give them your support so they can continue to offer a great dining experience.

Amazing Indian food! The lunch special is a great value - it includes a soup or salad, rice, naan, daily side, main entree. I always have leftovers. I have only ordered the Shahi paneer at lunch because it’s luscious (thinly sliced paneer, creamy, full of onions and peppers), but I am going to try to branch out the next time! There are tons of vegetarian and vegan options. I also ate dinner there once and wow. Appetizers were top tier, like out of any type of restaurant, not just Indian food; flavorful cocktails (Singh Saab in NOLA was awesome); and even though I didn’t get my beloved shahi paneer, they have many options that I haven’t heard of before (Chukundari Kofta) as well as the “classics” (korma, masala, etc). Dinner only comes with rice, so be sure to order naan - it must be freshly baked because it’s so good. Service is friendly and helpful. I also really like the cutlery and plate ware. Can’t recommend enough!
