“I like how this place is eco- friendly by serving on plates and using utensils that can be washed instead of throw away things like some places. Nice relaxing atmosphere, really cozy. Yummy salad with interesting unique ingredients. I also got a hot tea and it was great that they had choices of flavor instead of just one or two types. I had one with ginger in it.”

“While sitting in Chimm, I noticed two women sitting across from each other crying through their entire meal. They didn't appear embarrassed or uncomfortable doing so, and I could see their interaction taking place at each others kitchen table just as easily. Soon after they left an elderly man came in with presumably his grandchildren and without a second thought changed that same tables configuration so that they could sit next to each other. The food was very good, albeit a bit pricey for me just picking up a quick meal and the garlic chicken wasn't very garlicky that night, but it was because of the experiences I saw that I would go back in a heartbeat. An atmosphere which facilitates genuine human interaction is a commodity very few restaurants can achieve.”

“Great place to stop when you are on a road trip. If you want to stop in Charlottesville without driving the additional miles to downtown. It also a great alternative the tourist trap stops in the area. The staff was friendly and they offered a nice selection of healthier food options compared to some chain restaurants. It is located inside of a shopping center so you can stretch your legs before getting on the road again.”

Biscuits are hot and crusty on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. Cornbread is not too sweet. And the fluffiness on the inside is the perfect texture. Meat is well seasoned.”
