Stomping Ground

This place is the best. Not only everything is perfectly cooked and prepared, but every single ingredient is picked carefully. Everything is absolutely delicious, the food, the drinks even the honey is awesome. Their biscuits are also the best, perfect texture and taste and size of course. Even down to the orange slices. Even out of season each slice is tasty and juicy I have no idea how they find everything, it's almost annoyingly good since you have no idea where to find such good products elsewhere. The staff is super nice and friendly. The only negative I can think of is not having a second stomach to eat more.

My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Great service, friendly people, and wonderful breakfast -- I love the chilaquiles, the chicken biscuit, the vegetable hash, and the bowl of grits with chorizo and jalapenos. If possible, come early or late -- it can be a nightmare to get a seat during market hours.

The grit bowl was one of the tastiest dishes I've had in a while. Breakfast nachos were delicious as well. Come check it out if you haven't already

Of the places to eat around here, this one is probably the best. While the biscuit was buttermilk, I think they used an unbleached flour to get the crumbling texture that the Fried Chicken Biscuit had. I got the classic and it was pretty good. This is a walk up and order kind of place, they'll bring it out to you, then you clear the table. Dogs are allowed on both the front and back patios.
