Railstop Gastropub

A better run business would clearly post its hours outside and would close the doors when they are closed. Service was fine and food was fine the time we were the only ones in there. Popped in another night at 10:20 PM for a drink and appetizer. Doors wide open. There were about 14 other people in there having a grand time. Got ignored at our table for 10 minutes. Went to the bar. Got ignored and walked away from until I finally said excuse me. I asked what the procedure was for getting service, and the bartender said, "We close in ten minutes, so . . ." So what? You thought that was a good reason to act like we weren't there?! We took the hint and left.

Note that hours are not posted at the door, printed in the room, or printed on the menus. And who closes at 10:40? I later checked Google My Business which said they close at 10PM. One, a good restaurant seats until they are closed, and poorly managed ones don't know tthat.Two, have the sense to post a closed sign or the decency to recognize other people.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I had the turkey club and it was good. The fries were good. The service was good. The prices were a little high but that's to be expected at a hotel restaurant/bar.
