I don't like a lot of places in Oldtown but this place has been consistently good. I love the French Toast. It is definitely my go-to. The shrimp and grits do not disappoint either. The service is good. The food and drinks are all reasonably priced-- and the views are amazing.
The view is amazing, the service was prompt, and the food is top notch. The bar is well stocked and the bartender is very knowledgeable.
I ate here several times and wasn't able to photograph everything.
The Plain Jane no bun. The burger patty was amazing. This is not your typical half pound patty.
The deviled eggs are an amazing appetizer, nice and creamy. Bit of punch from the chive.
The duck egg rolls were amazing, absolutely the best appetizer on the menu. Menu. You must get a few of these. Crunchy savory full of flavor. Not tough at all. It is my favorite thing on the menu.
The KC shrimp has a little bit heat to it perfectly cooked.
I WILL COME HERE AGAIN THE NEXT TIME IN WASHINGTON DC.
The food is fantastic. I had french toast bread pudding that tasted like a slice of heaven and cheasapeake Benedict that was technically perfect and delicious. My husband had garden omelette (omelette was underseasoned) with fries.
We got outdoor seating and the view was stunning. Service was great as well.
The only reason I rated atmosphere as 4 is because the lights over my head had some cobwebs on it and a small spider was hanging from there. A little more attention to regular dusting and cleaning and this place will be picture perfect.
The service was fantastic. The view was even better. The drinks and appetizers, we had the charcuterie board, we're also great. For the most part the meals.were good too with one exception. All of them eggs were overcooked. We had 2 different Benedict plates and another meal had over easy eggs. The poached eggs were more soft boiled and not remotely runny and the over easy eggs were cooked through. Aside from that, the omelets were good, the hangover sandwich was great and the French Toast bread pudding was delicious.
Me and my mother came for Mother’s Day and it was AMAZING. With it being a holiday, you would expect service to be slow due to a crowd. This was NOT the case. Our server Khai was AMAZING. He gave helpful suggestions, took the time to explain the menu, was attentive, and we were served fresh food fasting than we expected. We will be back and we will be requesting Khai as our server.
