“Our stay there was excellent, we arrived there about 9:00 PM on 8/14/2021 and they cleaned a room for us for our stay. I want to personally recognize Justin, and Michael for their outstanding service they provided us. The food and the service was outstanding, the chef came out to explain that they were out of corn beef but made my wife a Rachel that she said was very good, she also mentioned that the fried green tomatoes were outstanding. Overall we were both were very impressed with the whole staff and enjoyed our experience there.”

“Excellent food and service. We had a large party of 7 and didn't have to wait at all for a table. Our waiter, Felipe, was awesome. Very patient with my kids and all of our special orders. Our food came out super fast and was exactly right. Desserts were amazing! Definitely try the fried cheesecake. We will for sure be back as we were all impressed with our food and with the staff.”

“Charming staff, excellent food, and a cozy atmosphere made for one of the best dinners my family and I have had in a long time. We stopped at the Cat & Owl after spending the day at the nearby Virginia Safari Park, and it turned out to be just what we needed before the ride home. What we had: Prime rib, chicken Alfredo, and lobster Alfredo were all delicious and well-portioned. Their broccoli was VERY buttery, so ask for less if you don't like lots (happily, we do)! The sautéed mushrooms may have been cooked in white wine - I thought I detected a hint - so ask first if you are alcohol-free.”

“I actually didn't visit this particular Penny's Diner at this location. I did how ever enjoyed the location in Vaughan New Mexico. That location had one of the best breakfast I ever had in a restaurant. The way they mixed their Coka Cola tasted straight out of the bottle. So good. The staff and waitress was super friendly. With that said if this location is anything like the one in NM I Would highly recommend this location as well.”

“2 weeks ago I moved from Atlanta, GA to Clifton Forge. The food at this establishment is easily on par with the fine dining experiences in Atlanta, and surpasses many. The food and drink pairing suggestions are magnificent, the balance of flavors was sublime. I am ecstatic to have found such an amazing restaurant unassumingly nestled in Clifton Forge. “Great food and service!! Awesome place to eat! We took the family here on Sunday and tried a little bit of everything and none of it disappointed. Pizzas were made fresh to order(pic says it all) with fresh toppings and mozzarella cheese. Subs were huge, kids burger were big, and the jalapeno hotdog was killer! We live an hour away and will be back to visit soon.”

“I visited Jack Mason's Tavern last weekend to celebrate my retirement. It was my first visit. What an amazing place!! The decor is very unique and interesting. I ordered a Pub steak, roasted potatoes, and a salad. Everything was mouth watering delicious! Our server was friendly and personable. She seemed to like what she was doing! I would highly recommend this place and I hope to go back soon.”
