The grilled hamburger steak was pretty good. Numerous items on the menu were not available during our afternoon visit. The pies are really excellent here. Pretty good service.

Great big family restaurant. In business since 1947. I had the French toast with strawberries and bananas 4 slices they were absolutely delicious. The waitress was prompt and courteous. Very nice place to eat breakfast while on the road.

I just ate at the restaurant with my husband. The first thing I was asked was about what I wanted to drink. I said we would both like water with lemon. I got no lemons. When I ordered the special that comes with a drink I said I will have Iced tea. The waitress looked over her glasses at my water and I felt she was thinking” I thought you just wanted water” she did not ask if I wanted sweet tea or unsweetened. I wanted a grilled chicken breast but I was too old. It’s only on the kids menu. I ask can I have an adult dinner with it. No said the waitress. Not, let me ask. I ordered ice tea without specifying unsweetened. I got sweet and then I put two sweet and lows in it. I couldn’t drink it. We both had the Monday special, hamburger steak. It was good. I ordered hash brown casserole hoping it was like Cracker Barrel. It wasn’t, it was very cheesy but didn’t taste like real cheese. The baked apples were ok. I would think a seasoned waitress would have said to my husband “ Your meal comes with a drink would you like something else besides the water with lemon your wife ordered while you were in the bathroom? “ But No. I’m from Oklahoma and very friendly. She wasn’t.

Great Food! Decor could be updated and certain things needed a good cleaning such as the ceiling tiles around the air vents. That was minor, especially once your food arrived. We had a large party and everything ordered came out correct and cooked perfectly. The desserts were amazing. Worth a stop!!
