“This place is AMAZING! We drive from Roanoke (about 25 miles) to eat here. We have been here 3 times now and tried something new each time. Everything is always fresh and so good from the burgers and fries to wings and even the crab cakes and DELICIOUS homemade chili. I can't even pick a favorite item because they are all so good. The food totally makes a place worth trying but this little restaurant also has friendly service and beautiful mountain views. MUST TRY!!!”

“Just spent a week paddling the James River and as we passed through Buchanan we stopped here for lunch. The burgers and onion rings were amazing and the service was top notch. They even help charge my battery pack while we were eating. If you are in the area stop and pickup a burger and some sweet tea.”

“Local place for us. Reccommend going for early lunch or after lunch rush as parking is VERY limited. Small converted trailer establishment located right off 81. Expect more inflated prices than your typical location because of the Interstate location. One of the shabbiest Subway's we have been in. Service and portioning depends on the employee working, and their mood. ???? Not recommended after 8 p.m. The food quality just doesn't seem the same like it is earlier in the day. Bathrooms are for paying customers only, as is the gas station adjacent to it. Has small sheltered area for outside dining.”

That finally comes. Then my food order is taken. Then waitress comes back to tell me they are out of one of the main ingredients. Would i like to order something else. I finally get some food which was very tasty. They discounted the price of the meal by more then 50%.”

An employee from the restaurant drove to the hotel to deliver dressing that had accidentally been left out. “Great place to have a small birthday party! My kids love coming to this Pizza Hut to use their book-it coupons that they earn at school for reading books. The personal pan pizzas are just the right size. This establishment is decently easy to get to, and has a medium sized parking lot. My waitress was very beautiful and she was very kind and went out of her way to make sure that my glass of water was full at all times and that I had what I needed while I was enjoying my meal. One thing that I cannot stand at a lot of cracker barrels is when you asked for an over easy egg and they bring it out with snot all over it meaning the whites are not fully cooked. I requested to make sure my yoke was ruddy and the whites were fully cooked and it came out exactly as I asked satisfactory. Also the bacon wasn't burnt to a crisp and crucified which is also a problem that most cracker barrels. Good job chef highly recommended Cracker Barrel.”
