Prime 109

Everything is amazingly delicious. I had the best steak in my life here. I am still dreaming about it. Food, drinks & service were stellar. The cheesecake was also the best I've ever had.

This is fine dining for Central VA. We came here with a group of 10. From the service to the atmosphere this place screams elegance and class. The restaurant inside is gorgeous. An old bank remodeled. The service from our two waitresses was excellent. The steaks were perfectly cooked and definetely shouldn't be ruined with A1 or any other sauce. Everyone at our table ordered different cuts of steaks, some sides, and a few bottles of wine. By the end of the night the bill was close to $1200. Expect to pay anywhere from 50-100 per person and that's without drinks. You pay for the steak and then sides cost extra, though each side is probably enough for 2 or 3 people. This is a great place to go for a special occasion or a date. Overall everything was perfect though I'd expect no less in a place like Prime 109. I enjoyed the experience, but there's not a big difference between a $60 steak and a $20 one.

My overall experience at Prime 109 was excellent. Our server was extremely attentive and thoroughly answered any questions we had and the food was amazing. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because you have to pay extra for any sauce you would like with your steak. Obviously this is not a place you go to if you're dining on a budget, but still I think at least one sauce should be included in the cost of a high end cut of beef.

This place is amazing. Not only do they have a crazy classy building, but the staff is perfect and the experience is totally in line with what you'd expect from the marble floors and 20 foot ceilings. Never before has steak tasted this good. The portions are generous and the prices are totally reasonable for the exceptional quality you'll undoubtedly receive. Have dinner here and you'll be inspired to write an equally glowing review.
