“The primary reason Lockside is receiving five stars is because of the service. We ordered fried shrimp tacos for dinner. They brought us grilled shrimp tacos. They were quick to apologize and bring us the correct dish, unfortunately they didn’t do that. They brought fried fish tacos. My wife was too embarrassed to tell the waitress her error again. So she began to eat them. However, five minute later the manager brought the fried shrimp tacos to our table and apologized repeatedly. At this point we were full so we boxed them to go. When I received the bill the fried shrimp tacos weren’t on it. So, I told the waitress she made an error. It wasn’t an error, they COMP’d the tacos as an attempt to correct the situation. Great way to win local customers! The tacos taste great! They make great salads. And have cozy outside seating on the river.”

“I’ve only been here twice but the first time I came I went through the drive thru and the girl didn’t hear me order my drink so when I mentioned it at the window she apologized and gave it to me for free. The second time I came in with my girlfriend and the lady working was so sweet. She was running drive thru and the register by herself. She got a little busy but brought us our food anyways. Made fine, just right like we asked. She was too nice. :)”

“Starting with the positives: - Clean - friendly cashier - Speedy Services - Salad was well made Now the negatives: - The order placed was wrongly executed, I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and instead I got a completely different chicken wrap. The apple and chips were not served either. - Each chicken wrap that was served was poorly constructed and was not filled with vegetables and meat as it is advertised. (NOTE: this wouldn’t be much of an issue if this issue was consistent amongst the franchise. However, I have had much better and well prepared wraps at other Tropical Smoothie Cafes. Recommendation: A well trained manager be present to ensure execution of orders are done correctly and the crew are well trained.”
