“Love finding new places to eat and this one has a massive menu we were eager to try out. We got a grilled chicken rice bowl, chicken quesadilla, Philly cheese steak, and honey BBQ boneless wings. First off, the food looked excellent, check out the photos. They’ve got good ingredients and the food is a good start but has room for improvement. The rice bowl was by far the best item of what we got and don’t have any complaints. The quesadilla was surprisingly not very cheesy. Load it up guys! The Philly cheese steak was pleasant but also didn’t have as much cheese as you’d expect and could use more seasoning or something. Don’t be afraid of flavor guys! The boneless wings flavor was great but this time the chicken itself had been overcooked too much because it was pretty tough to bite into and chewy after that. Just need to not cook as long. Again, a newly launched place so I look forward to trying out more of their options in the future and hopefully they continue to improve as they get feedback. It’s run by very friendly people. I give them a 3.5/5 for now. Let’s see if they can raise that score next time.”

“So delicious. We were greeted right away. Our food came out fast. I ordered the short ribs which were seasoned to perfection; paired with sauteed onions making a salty and sweet combination. Our other order was the Caldo de Rez perfect to warm you up. The meat was really tender and shredded really well. The broth was delicious and the vegetables were all dente”

“What a hidden gem! We had a fantastic experience. Great selection of teas and delicious food options. The scones with cream and jam were a favorite but we enjoyed everything. Moved over to Korean BBQ, being Korean I've been eating it all my like nothing like mom's cooking, but this place comes on a close second. Highly recommend! “Great job for our visit during their soft opening. We tried three of their vegetarian/vegan menu items. All three dishes were great, comparable to pho so 1 in the west end. I love that we finally have an authentic pho restaurant on the south side. Lights in the parking lot were not working yet. Red tray on the table is used for utensils, make sure you have those before your food arrives 😁”

“Went to the new Canastas Chicken Midlothian today. Holy cow! Highly recommended. I got the 1/4 white meat chicken and it was flavorful and very juicy. My son got the Canastas burger and it was delicious. All the sides were on-point as well. Friendly and attentive staff. Loons like this is the fourth location in RVA. This place is gonna give Chicken Fiesta (whom I’ll still patronize) some serious competition!”

“Incredible chips and salsa! I love their Mexican Flag burrito with ground beef. My husband gets the same burrito with chicken and it’s tasty too. The ambiance is incredible and you’ll want to walk around and look at all the artwork. We had fun playing pool and the bar set up looked good although we weren’t drinking. My kids love that they can color on the tablecloth and the kids menu has a good amount of options!”

“This shells is literally the cheapest one around town rn. Like if you didn’t know there price are always reasonable. With apps to save a couple cents or so will make it also worth it. Use your device to the fullest. I can’t speak for inside but it’s usually open late. My go to gas.”

Prices are great especially considering the size of the portions. Much better eating compared to fast food and heck of a lot cheaper than a big time restaurant.
