“The Wellington burger was amazing. I requested it grilled medium and the cook got it on point. The place is kept clean and the staff where friendly. A bit costly compared to other similar style burger places. I guess the overhead costs of being in the Mosaic shopping area is really being passed down to customers. Overall I would return again.”

“Really great place! Huge selection of good food, especially sandwiches and pizza, and good beer. Service staff was down to earth and quick. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5, booths are very uncomfortable. Invest in some cushions.”

District Taco

Address: 26760 Avenir Pl, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Restaurant

“Took 25 minutes to get our food after ordering and they weren't even busy. When the food did arrive it looked thrown together. Best thing I has was the lemon soda out of the machine. We both had the fish taco and had to struggle to find the fish. Bar Taco 1,000,000 times better quality and service.”

BRINE at Mosaic

“Trout was not very tasteful. The oyster that was on happy hour were bland but the ocean brine one's were delicious. The sauces for the oysters we're great. Horseradish was the freshest I ever tasted. The glasses of wine were good. Bread was amazing. Catfish was flavorful. Brussle sprouts were pretty good.”

Cheesetique Mosaic

Address: 2985 District Ave, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Restaurant

“The food is good. The service and atmosphere is friendly. I've tried their brunch and lunch. My favorite sandwich (well, I haven't tried the others) is the Sassy Goat. Their mac and cheese is good, but of note it has a strong flavor. The tater tots poutine were good. The French toast was good, though I wouldn't go there for the French toast. French onion soup was good. Tomato soup was good. Their cheesecake is really good. Their grits cakes were tasteless to me, and I don't think I'd order them again. They often have free samples. I tried their pimiento with cherry tomato and a cracker. It was a nice extra. I've gone to the mosaic location two times this month. Today, the power went out in the entire Mosaic District, near the tail end of our dining. The staff was very accommodating and provided everyone with a free champagne glass. I look forward to going back. ... and I hope they were able to restore their power quickly.”

matchbox

“Cozy setting on the inside and offers outdoor seating. Fantastic pizza - great for groups and sharing. Wooden booth separators between seating are high and allow for privacy. Table service is quick, definitely a good stop in the Mosaic for lunch if you have an hour to spare with coworkers.”

JINYA Ramen Bar

Address: 2911 District Ave #140, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Restaurant

“The texture of the noodles are a little bit harder to me. But this is my personal opinion. My husband kind of like the hardness of the noodles. Cool restaurant decor, friendly staffs. On the rainy day, a bowl of hot noodles is the best lunch. However, the soup was not hot at all. It is just a little bit higher than room temperature. Nice location, plenty parking spaces in near by parking garages.”

Alta Strada, Mosaic

Address: 2911 District Ave #150, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Restaurant

“We ordered mushroom burger, pork sandwich and spaghetti with meat balls as side dish. Pork sandwich was a little too oily while other dishes were good. We thought the services could be improved. Our waitstaff kept asking us if we wanted to order more food and drink at least 5 times when taken orders even after we repeatedly declined and a few more times thereafter. It's good that we were looked after but it was definitely over the top.”

Ted's Bulletin

Address: 2911 District Ave Unit 160, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

“Holly provided excellent service yesterday! Consistently excellent food. Definitely try the tater tots with your breakfast. They are amazing! Even better if you can beat the breakfast crowd.”

Cyclone Anaya's Mexican Kitchen

Address: 2911 District Ave #170, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Restaurant

“When my friends and I want brunch, we always go to Cyclones (we've been going for years now)! They have the best mimosa deal in Fairfax. They charge around $10 for the first mimosa and then it's a penny for each one after. If you get tired of orange juice, you can also ask for cranberry juice instead. My two favorite entrees are the breakfast quesadillas and the shrimp tacos. I give it 4 stars out of 5 because the waiters can be a hit or miss.”

Cafe Right Angle

Address: 8401 Arlington Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

“Good turkey sandwiches and buffet (flavorful healthy food like stir fried veggies, dumplings, fish, chicken). Excellent service. The buffet has reduced price at 2:30 if you're on a budget, but there may be less options than there are around noon.”

Little Dipper Hot Pot House

Address: 2985 District Ave Suite 185, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Restaurant

“Just stopped by after I saw this had opened last week. I am personally accustomed to a more traditional hot pot where you cook the food before eating but this was a very pleasant change! I got the Mala Dipper (spicy) on happy hour special that included a green (or black) iced tea, veggie or pork spring roll and the dipper meal. I was blown away by how delicious and simple the green tea was. Not too sweet, a hint of lavander maybe? and completely refreshing. Honestly some of the best green tea I've ever had. The pork spring roll was just as delicious and the sauce that accompanied it was equally phenomenal! The dipper meal came out in a nice styled hot pot with a timed burning material that burns out after a while so your pot isn't always boiling. A great touch to allow your food to cool down after a period of time. The veggies in the dish were delicious and the broth was the perfect amount of spicy. It seemed like everything in the bowl perfectly accompanied and absorbed the flavor of the broth. Will definitely be coming back to try some more dishes and highly recommend trying.”

District Dumplings

Address: 2985 District Ave #110, Fairfax, VA 22031, USA

Restaurant

“I'm not an expert in dumplings but I definitely know how to eat and I liked these dumplings! I've tried just about all of them by now. The pork and bell peppers are really good. I don't see a huge difference between the pork and shrimp and other pork ones. The basil chicken are also pretty good if you like basil. I'm not a vegetarian but the Buddha's choice are pretty good and more moist and juicy inside. I would recommend pan fried over steamed. Sometimes the steamed ones and soup dumplings stick together too much. I like the complimentary water and hot tea while you wait although the tea does taste pretty diluted and could use a little strengthening up ;) Staff has been nice and polite each time I have visited so far.”
