Without a comparable option for a carbs conscious person -me- we are not going that often. The big cookie desert is our favorite. “Called ahead to reserve a table. Arrived on time and were seated within 10 mins (and in the area, a 10 min wait is amazing compared to typical 45+ min wait times!!) Greeted promptly and ordered drinks. Our waiter went over the specials for the evening, brought us bread, and took our order. Bread and butter was tasty. Food came out sizzling and fresh (fajitas.) Chicken was SO tender and juicy! Well prepared. My friend had the salmon and cleaned her plate! She said it was delicious. Great meal, worth the wait! (Just make sure to use the call ahead feature which you can do through Google or calling directly.)”

“Tonight I had turnip and sparerib soup. I’ve had it several times. Each time it’s been generous and delicious. To the Chinese taste. The most interesting thing about this restaurant is the quality of the plain white rice. Most Chinese restaurants serve cheap rough rice. The bowls of steamed rice here are tender and moist. Begging for refills! I’ve only had excellent service here. Highly recommended!”

However, when I got home and opened the bag the portions were huge, for two, that I ate it on two days although I love steak which made the meal cheap compared to other steak restaurants. Most are standard Mexican fare but there is clearly an effort to compete with some of the "foodie culture" with a few specific items in particular. Table side guacamole is a must.
