“Drove over from Roanoke to check out the distillery. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We tried 6 of the different liquor/cocktail options. (A flight + singles). They were all great; the smoothest alcohol we’ve ever had. We also had an amazing lunch. The open face turkey sandwich and the salmon were outstanding. Great atmosphere and super friendly, chill staff. They also have a patio in the back with a fire pit.”

“This coffee is the best around. Prices are very fair for the amazing quality. Me and my baby just strolled by here on our morning walk and I had only been there a couple times before but this morning was outstanding. I needed to make a bottle for my girl and she let me get water from espresso machine, she even remade my caramel frappe when my daughter knocked it out of my hand. I was so sorry about the mess and cleaned most of it up but she didn't even hesitate to make me another one at no cost. I would have gladly paid. Super sweet staff. Breakfast food was so delicious, I bought more to bring home to my teen son. Just wish they had a handicap entrance cuz babies are pretty much handicap in their strollers ???”

Very polite on the phone and helped us realize that our order could be cheaper for a current special they were running. When we arrived the pizza was hot and waiting. Happy boys and s happy family. Wonderful view of the lake from inside or out on the deck. Great bar too. You need to be here. The only issue is the limited parking, but the food and atmosphere make up for it. Come see the actual copper kettle at the Copper Kettle restaurant.”

“Staff was very attentive. Moosie's has a wide variety of subs, sandwiches, and burgers. Sandwiches are served with potato chips but fries are available. They also have salads and soups. The carpet is new this year and looks very nice. I picked the chicken salad sandwich. The menu said chicken mixed with mayo. It was piled with chicken, but was bland even with lettuce and tomato. So, next time I'll choose another entree - maybe a burger.”

“Had driven by so many times, always wanted to go to, but never had the chance, to stop there until today. We got their Southwest Chicken Salad, and Pimento Cheese Burger. And dessert - Banana Pudding. All were very good. All of what they serve is made fresh when you order, so there may be a little wait, but well worth it. They have a lot of homemade food too. Like some of their Salad Dressings, Chips, and Desserts. The staff were all really nice too. Their prices were about what we're seeing as average, $8 - $10 range. But the portion size was good for the price. One of the neatest things about this place, is the decor. It's got all these really cool signs with sayings and such on it's walls. This is definitely a place for whole family - has a small bar, restaurant, and small ice cream parlor-like section as well. Next time you're passing through Boones Mill, make it a point to stop by, you won't be disappointed.”
