Soup And Taco Etc

Love this place and the food!!! It's just SO SMALL, but that's why they opened Soup And Taco II, which is great also. You will not be disappointed. :)

Their tacos are two tortillas(corn or flour) with cheese melted between them. Why did no one think to do that before. Its basically the perfect taco. My only wish would be a toppings bar to add more of something if you wanted.

A favorite of downtown Fred! Delicious chips and salsa. Everything is always hot and tasty. Only complaint is that the restaurant is rather small, and you may have to wait (outside) for a seat.

Small hole-in-the-wall outstanding Mexican food in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. This is definitely worth a stop. Not a tremendous amount of space inside so it's sometimes difficult getting a table at prime hours. If the weather is pleasant you can sit outside. Staff is courteous, service is quick.

Only sad that it took us 5 months after we relocated to the area to discover this gem of a restaurant. Excellent, fresh, authentic South American cuisine. Restaurant is tiny, maybe seats 50 if you include two outside tables. But, oh my gosh, the food is fabulous. Best tortilla soup ever. Everything is made from scratch right down to guacamole and beans. Everyone in our party of four loved what they ordered. Friendly wait staff provided excellent service. Make sure to check out the specials menu printed separately from regular menu.
