Had a great experience here. The food is outstanding and the service was excellent. The smoked wings were perfect. Perfect. I had the oxtail with rice and Salisbury cabbage. Everything was delicious.

Sara is a mad scientist behind the bar. She made me a mojito with cucumber that went down way too easily and too quickly.

Highly recommended.

First time eating at Pimenta and I can’t waiting to go back. Never had Jamaican food but everything we tried was excellent. We started with Beef patties and jerk wings both great starters. The wings definitely had a kick to them and you could pick from either chicken, beef or veggie patties. We ordered three different dishes, Oxtail, chicken curry and jerk chicken. All great choices with delicious sides including mac & cheese, white rice , rice and peas, french fries and plantains. Never had oxtail but I think I found a new favorite dish. Atmosphere was bright, clean and had a island vibe. Service was top notch and portions sizes were plentiful. Looking forward to trying Pimenta again in the near future.

So if you like spice, the jerk chicken was really good. It had a different vibe to it than normal. Like it had a sauce on it that had a little sweetness to it. And the oxtails were good too (I like hot sauce on mine and I didn't have any). Random but their side salad and dressing is bomb lol. I had the cabbage as a side and it was really fresh and crunchy!

My friend and I both had the jerk chicken with various sides and drinks. All the sides were delicious and tasted fresh, but my friend and I both decided the chicken was probably some of the best we’ve ever had. The drinks were also great, and made with fresh fruit. Food was amazing, service was a little slow, as expected as they get the hang of things in a new restaurant. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

This is a great restaurant. The staff is very professional and also very social. They don’t ever make you feel like you can’t just sit and hang out after you’ve eaten. The food is very good. They’ve only been open a short while and any kinks people are complaining about will work themselves out as the owners get familiar with the daily traffic patterns in they’re place. Only complaint I would have if any is the prices for the day menu. The lunch prices are the same as dinner and I think it hinders people from coming as often for a casual meal. Overall love this place. Worth noting they have ice cream in the cafe section attached. Cheers.
