Mikie was great to work with as our wedding caterer! She helped us customize a meal that represented both mine and my husband’s culinary culture and it was delicious! She was open and available to chat by phone and email. She was even open to altering her recipes after receiving feedback from us at the complimentary tasting.
Mikie is wonderful to work with and her food is delicious! We received so many compliments on the food at our wedding!
As a wedding photographer, I've sampled a lot of different caterers' food. Mikie's was by far my favorite. Their menu was varied, interesting, creative, and beautiful. Mikie is so friendly and helpful, even stepping in to serve as wedding coordinator for one event we worked together. She works closely with couples to create the perfect spread for their wedding, and her effort shows in the delicious food. I highly recommend Mikie's 7th!
I LOVE Mikie's! They buy everything from local farms and companies and the food is amazing. When i had the money i'd go there 2 times a week at least. Anything and everything they make is delicious down to the sweet tea!
Mikie's 7th is the best kept secret in the New River Valley. If you are looking for all natural, slow food, then this is the stop for you. All of their meat is straight from the farm. Their pizza dough is made on site (not shipped in frozen) and is whole wheat or white. The vegetables are fresh, and served in season. Even the paper plates / cups are corn-based products that can be composted. Reasonable prices. If you want to eat with the locals, then you need to stop here. Just don't tell too many people about it, or the secret will get out!
Here's an update... It is still my favorite spot to go, only now it is better, because now they serve beer!
