“The staff at Courthouse Creek were wonderful! Very knowledgeable and friendly. They want you to feel very welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly. The live music made for a nice background. I tried their gluten free beer and it was very tasty. I haven't had a gluten free beer in many years because I tried quite a few and didn't really like any. I would not hesitate to drink another here at Courthouse Creek. The only negative for me was the handicap parking and access. When you park in the handicap space, you have to cross the parking lot go down a relatively steep hill. The hardship is that it's all crushed stone. Someone with slightly less mobility would need assistance. Once you are on the concrete patio, access is great. The indoor restroom is accessible and clean and you can get to the large outdoor seating area which is covered. I didn't try the food but what I saw looked very appetizing. It seems like a great place for a date night or even to hang out and listen to a little music with friends.”

“We recently had a corporate event at Drive Shack and it was such a great time! Everyone in our party absolutely loved it. The facilities are really nice and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. My only complaint is the quality of the food. We did the Tex-Mex Buffet and I wasn't overly impressed with it. For the price you pay per person for the buffet, I was expecting a better quality of food. The meat for the fajitas was so, so dry and overcooked. The beans were over spiced and the rice had a bit of a funny taste. They also brought out a skillet brownie for one of our employee's birthday. The skillet itself was hot, but the brownie was hard as a rock and cold. I'm really not sure how you manage that. The entertainment aspect was great and definitely helped make up for the food. I am certain we will host more work events there in the future, but we will definitely rethink what food we order.”

“Goochland basically has two options for Chinese, and they're within about 200ft of each other. I generally prefer China King, as I feel the portion sizes are more generous! The fried crab sticks are delicious, and I enjoy their lo mein better than most others. I usually order a small cup of sweet and sour sauce whenever ordering anything breaded, it's pretty amazing!”

“We went in last afternoon for a quick bite to eat. I honestly wasn't expecting a whole lot because we were just looking for a couple of sandwiches, maybe some fries. My boyfriend said that he'd been there before and the sub was good. Good probably doesn't quite cover it - the pizza steak sub was incredible. Specifically, the balance of ingredients - not too much cheese, not too little meat, not overwhelmed with onion - and it was HOT! Like should-be hot. You know how you get a hot sub and it's like kind of warm, like they ran it through the toaster for a minute? This was actually like "we actually cooked this on a STOVE and put it on the warm bread right after" kind of hot. The service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. 11/10, would recommend.”
