“My father and I ate lunch here and it was excellent. I had the spicy beef and he had the peas. It came out on a large platter and we ate with our hands. I have never had Eritrean food before. The beef was tender with just the right amount of spice. The peas/tomato’s are a purée that has great flavor. I wish there was a place like this to eat on my area.”

“I have been ordering and eating at Jpetal since they opened! It was the only place around that I could enjoy a yummy poke bowl. Since reopening from COVID the food has been terrible. I kept ordering thinking it was just a one time thing. I always ask for extra sauce on the side and the past 3 orders I have not gotten it. Today I ordered and the mango was frozen, there was water at the bottom of the bowl and the rice was not fully cooked. I’m not sure why the food has gone down hill but it certainly has. They have lost my business. Update: After posting my review the managers of Jpetal reached out to me letting me know they were very sorry. I let them know because of Covid I know some things have happened. They provided me with a free meal and an apology. Today I got my free meal and it was hand delivered to me at my work with an apology. My food today tasted as yummy as it used to when I got it before! It is nice to have someone try and work so hard to keep their customers happy.”

“Today, Feb. 15, 2020, I met Niki & his Staff. Very Nice not alot of English spoken so I need to refresh my Spanish. I bought the Fresh Steak Tacos ~ Delicious on HomemadeTortillas. Their salsa is Extreme Extra Hot!! Brought Tears to my Eyes but the Tacos I give them a 4 just too plain for me .. I think Lettuce, Cheddar Cheese and Sour Cream should be added. I also ordered the Grilled Chicken now that was also Delicious - I go by every Sat. Enjoy a half. ? I tasted the Grilled Steak which you can buy by the pound. Many do it that way because Niki marinates his Flank Steaks & Grills them. Flank Steaks are hard to do at home so I salute you a 4* on your Steak & Chicken. American People .. STOP by and Try for Niki & his Staff are Great Chefs cooking out of Food Caboose today. They also serve Delicious Food inside where its warm too.”

“We were very excited to see this place pop up out of nowhere. Flavor is great, but it seems to be missing a little crunch. I’ve only tried the tenders, maybe the wings or whole chicken have the crunch. The red hot pepper is deliciously hot, and it’s a good heat. My wife who doesn’t like spicy food thinks the soy garlic is the limit for her spicy level (I don’t even taste a hint of spiciness so ?♂️). Since I’ve ordered here twice this week, I think it deserves 5 stars.”
