Arilang Sushi

So I was looking for a go to sushi joint and well I found it. The food is incredible and the staff is even better! Very friendly the chef spoke to us and was very informative.

Nice people and good service but I wasn’t impressed with the actual food. Pork Gyoza was good the rolls not so much. I then had a massive allergic reaction even though nothing listed should have triggered that for me. Also we ordered a few rolls and each tasted the same. Lastly their spicy fish tastes like the spice they mix it with but not anything like tuna or salmon. For the prices I’ll be choosing elsewhere unfortunately

Very large menu of sushi, all of which is excellent! They have many options that would likely satisfy a sushi skeptic. Ambiance is laid back and pleasant, and the staff is friendly. They also have a good small selection of imported Japanese beers.

By far this is some of the best sushi I’ve had in Virginia. Everything we got was high quality. All the portions were generous. The overall experience was great. Even the water they serve was high alkaline. You can definitely tell they put thought behind everything. I highly recommend this place!

I typically judge the quality of sushi based on a spicy tuna roll. Not a hard roll to make, but the ingredients are indistinguishable and set the bar.

Bravo. Exceptional, clean fish and I was patting my head from the spicy punch. We'll certainly be back.
