World of Beer

Daughter and soon to be son-in-law suggested that we go here. Two gals ordered the Cobb Salad, were very happy with them. STBSIL ordered a burger and side salad, was very happy. I ordered the wings...... not so good. I had asked if they were crispy, assured they were, I didn't realize they baked them and didn't deep fry them. As my daughter told me, I should've just asked for something else and didn't. Place was nice, the waiter was great, very funny actually, I would go there again, just not order the wings. Good atmosphere, clean, nice folks, but just don't order wings.

Attended a birthday dinner gathering and had a great time. Beer and cider selection was great. Our server, Will, was attentive and a very nice guy. Food is about what you’d expect from a place named World of Beer. I’d go again.

My Wife and I stopped here on our trip to North Carolina. We are glad we stopped at this specific one around 9:30pm. Our waiter was William and it was an amazing experience. We came in to eat and just try some beers we have never had and that's what we did. We told him the type of beers we don't like and we both got amazingly customized beer flights of beers we both loved, that William and the bartender put together. Even had a Cider I will need to find (Appalachian Hard Cider - Hawk Knob), because it was recommended. Had a great talk with him about the area and the other beers to try. The beer, food, and service were amazing. If we are driving through the area again we will hopefully stop by and get the same waiter.

I ordered the chicken sliders and they were good. My sons ordered the cheeseburgers and macaroni and cheese with bacon sprinkled on top. They were both quite satisfied. The sriracha and mayo dip was really good too. This place kind of reminded me of a Ruby Tuesday with a good variety of draft.
