Wow, it’s not too often you try a new place and it makes this kind of impression. Service was not good, it was great! Tonya was so positive, energetic, and clearly loves her customers! Then the food came, clearly all things home made and, it was delicious!

I love this place hole in the wall with a great atmosphere! Love the staff and the food is amazing! Best Old fashion in Short-pump hands down! Diverse Menu with something for everyone.

I feel like YaYas Cookbook is overated. There are so many good Thai food restaurants in Richmond, you are not there for the food. The modern and trendy decoration is definitely drawing the theater crowd. Food was over priced. The beef dish that we ordered was tough. Great place to have a drink, but I am not impressed with the food. Our server was very knowledgeable with the menu and friendly.

Stopped in to meet for a happy hour catch up. Bartender was super friendly and introduced himself(that might have been because the friend I was meeting is a regular there), but I appreciated the handshake. The Mule I had was pretty tasty and had good overall balance. The yellow tail roll was very good. Fresh with a nice texture and flavorful. It was a spicy roll but the sauce(s) were balanced with good heat and flavor. I will be going back to try more dishes soon.
