“Yesterday after work I decided to stop at Ayoko for the Yelp Elite week event. They are in a plaza so parking varies but it wasn't busy so there was a lot of parking spaces. Upon entry I was immediately greeted by Eric. He was very attentive and easy going with the order. For the elites we were served with 1 complimentary bento box and a drink. We had 2 options (chicken or tofu). I ordered the Chicken Bento box and the veggie dumplings with a drink. I also purchased a side of Shrimp Tempura sushi rolls. I am giving them a 3 stars because I had to recook the chicken and the size was small for $14 even as a complimentary tray the regular purchase would be the same size. The entree was very delicious upon my dislike to the chicken not being done to my liking. The veggies were fresh and well flavored as the rice. I gave my boyfriend the veggie dumplings which he stated was very good and he also purchased a side of the California sushi rolls which he also stated they were good!! Overall I liked the interior settings and would return for sushi. They have decent parking and the service was pleasant. I was stoked by the small lego design(pictured below) it was cute near the bar stool assembly and kids high chairs. The sushi stole the show and fast paced customer service!! They also have outdoor seating!”

“I got the small chicken combo. The fries were in a separate container but I took them out in the picture. Everything tasted great. I asked for no cheese. The chicken was very flavorful and not dry. I had their strawberry lemonade too. I dined in and loved the atmosphere. It’s definitely a cool cheesesteak restaurant and it is very clean.”

“This plaaaaace is perfect!!! This is The Really hot pot place around Richmond. Confirmed by my Asian ancestor's gene, lol. If you are not good at eating spicy food, then order mild level. Its kinda spicy but not that spicy you know. I mean.. this place is just too good. Sometimes they play k-pop music also i liked it haha. Anyway the food here is just awesome!!!!!! Also the price is reasonable. I paid around $17. (Included tax&tips) I love this place.”

“This was our first visit here and Bambu RVA did not disappoint! We ordered the taro slush with boba (reg sweetness) and thai milk tea with boba (reg sweetness), plus the bubble egg waffle (plain). The staff was friendly, and as we waited for the food, I got to look around and appreciate the decor, all the beautiful live plants, and overall chic design. This is a comfortable place to hang out, especially the basket seats! The taro slush was so delicious, had a perfect consistency, super smooth, and no ice chunks. The Thai milk tea's flavor is perfectly balanced. We loved this and will be back!”

“Wonderful dining experience here tonight! SO happy to have discovered this Mexican food gem!! A few steps away from the hustle-bustle of downtown Short Pump which is always nice:-) Our party of three had delicious meals. The food was definitely a step above the Mexican restaurants we’ve frequented in the past, and was reasonably priced as well. Very excited to have a new option for Mexican food and can’t wait for our next visit! My daughter even found a healthy salad and took a picture.Try this place-you won’t regret it!”

“Saw this place on Instagram and it seemed like a fun spot to try. Great customer service. We tried the corn pancake Venezuelan special and a build-your-own. Really fun little pancakes with a ton of toppings. The person who waited on us was so nice, explained everything, and had order ready very quickly. It's a bit tricky to find inside the Regency Mall. This spot is in a kiosk near the former food court, in front of the old Forever 21 1st floor entrance. Currently the location is just inside the first floor entrance by the condos, near the Third Church entrance. Worth the hunt!!”

“I never leave reviews and had to for these tacos. Easily the best tacos I’ve had in RVA. And the chips and guac are such the perfect side. Everything is freshly made including the chips, and you can taste the difference . The food was perfect, but the service is why I’ll continue to be back for take out and dine in— I placed my pick up order through DoorDash and it messed up and gave me beef instead of chicken. When I got my food, I let them know what happened and they immediately made me a new order of chicken tacos, no issues. Great service, great food, and great prices.”

“It’s like grabbing a bite at your Uncle’s table. Although it may seem like walking into a time capsule, my family was greeted by the friendly owner. And he does everything; cooking, cleaning, running the register, and taking care of customers. It was really impressive and can really appreciate he does it all with a smile. The food is a must-try. Our chicken gyro was delicious with sliced peppers to give it a little kick. The pep-pizza for my son was crispy and made fresh. The fries were crisp and fresh as well. Overall, my family loved the restaurant and will definitely be back to try something new on the menu!”

“I've had my eye on this place since the day they opened and finally made my way there. We walked in blind not knowing what to expect. The dining area was cute, with no line, just one person in front of us. We had no idea what to order but settled on jerk chicken and tipsy chick with a side of rice. Both were really good, my jerk taco was spiceeey but I loved every bite. My daughter loved her chicken, too. We were both surprised cause we really had no idea what to expect. The price was great, but I just wish it was either a little bigger or a combo with 3 tacos. We had to do $5 a taco, and a la carte rice to fill up. I didnt see any vegan options. I hope to see that next time I go. I'd love a meat substitute taco. Either way, I will absolutely go back again.”

And this is also a Poke bowl and Boba & a smoothie place.The place is very clean and the decor is very nice and welcoming. “I have received amazing service here every time I’ve been to this establishment. Yes, the tuna sub I like to eat is a bit pricey but it keeps me full for 10 hours+.😁😁😁The associates are very welcoming. Everything looks super clean! The tuna taste fresh. “I’ve been to almost every hibachi place in and around the Richmond area trying to find my version of the perfect hibachi. And I’m happy to end my search at Hibachi House. Everything was absolutely delicious. I thought it was a little different to use linguine noodles but the flavor more than made up does that. The yum yum sauce is house made it seems and is very delicious and light. I liked that the fried rice has seasoning and minced carrots instead of chucks or slivers or whatever. And the portion you get for the price is crazy. I’ll only go here from hibachi from now on!”

“Me and my co worker went to this place like 4 3/4 times already when they had opened up. and I got to say they food is VERY GOOD , tender and the flavor they put into they dishes is what makes it the best . Tried curry chicken delicious. Oxtail ? Delicious. Jerk chicken ? Delicious. And can’t forget about their juice either . They also have great beef Patties. They have great Customer service & they always speak to us Every-time we walk in and also hold conversations as well . We eat there Every-time after work just to eat before we go home and we NEVER had a bad experience at this restaurant. We will always come back to support them . “As long as you understand that this restaurant is actually a sports bar you'll enjoy it. It's got a very well appointed bar and plenty of seating both inside and outside. Inside they have a balcony with plenty of TVs to watch your favorite game which I thought was pretty cool. The service was good although the restaurant hasn't been opened that long I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good but nothing special. Check the menu before you go. If you order a large beer, keep in mind it's almost a two-handed affair. This place can get very busy on Saturday afternoons because of college football. We had a 45 minute wait for a party of six. And they do not take reservations.”
