“This is by far the best Caribbean restaurant in the Richmond area. It’s adequately staff with minimal wait time, the menu is extensive and the food is very tasty and most importantly it’s healthy and not too salty (I’ve tried all the other Caribbean restaurants and they tend to cook with too much salt but not this one!). The food appears to be made with fresh ingredients and everything prepared from scratch, including the desserts, by their on-site chef. We had the rice and beans, cabbage and carrots, curry goat, plantains and two island drinks - sorrel and non-alcoholic ginger beer and the mango pineapple cheese cake. They all were very tasty. Highly recommend you try their food. You won’t be disappointed.”

The addition of the sausage to the boil bags infused the contents with a slight smoky flavor. The shrimp in my bag were plump and clean. Please add more soup selections besides Gumbo and vegetables (i.e broccoli, etc.) that can be sold alone or within. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience and will return.”

“I was taken to newly opened Lazeez for my birthday last week and it was SO good we decided to go for Mothers Day. My daughter and I both are celiac and the staff and Chef couldn’t have been more accommodating to make sure that we had not only a delicious meal but a safe one. “We saw this place open up a few months ago and really wanted to try it out. We are glad we did! We ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp, and Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, with a side of Cream Cheese Rangoon. The Rangoon was the best we've tasted. Very flavorful without the greasy, fried taste we are used to. The entrees were simply fantastic! Great taste. And the owner was great to chat with as well. We will definitely be back!”
