“Great atmosphere showing off true nostalgia! Classic icecream shop/deli with a good home feel. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ms. Margaret which was the cherry on top! Yummy icecream (we had banana pudding, cotton candy, cookie and sugar free pecan), reasonable prices and friendly service. Location in the historic Smithfield downtown area is also a plus! “Sweet baby Jesus this place is the bomb! I've not had anything bad here. Brisket is so juicy and tender it melts in your mouth. BBQ is on point. Slaw is crisp and not too mayo. Fries are good. I want to try the ribs but keep missing... When they have beef ribs, JUST DO IT. Mac&cheese is creamy goodness. Top it off with banana pudding. ???? The owners are super folks too. Locals. ???? “We absolutely loved this new find. We were visiting my family in Carrollton, VA & they took us to this place. Pictured is our sampler - the mozzarella sticks were huge and delicious. Every worker person enjoyed their meal. We also had the chicken pot pie, the pretzel bites, burgers and more. All were delicious. If you go, don’t miss out on the mozzarella sticks. Yum yum! We also enjoyed their house made sauces! The waitress was very friendly and we had good service.”

“We went there after church for lunch and it didn't disappoint. I decided to try something other than a usual appetizer and ordered the bacon sampler platter. What a treat to have chocolate, peppered, and bourbon glazed bacon before the main course!! We ordered the seafood platter and had the best fried scallops ever. Then we got really crazy and had white chocolate creme brulee for dessert. We left full and satisfied, and left with great memories with great company.”

“I have been here many times over the years. Always good food in a friendly, casual atmosphere. I visited again about a week ago and they have gone from good to great. We had flounder, scallops, fried clam appetizer, and finished with key lime pie. Every bite was delicious, the staff was attentive and prompt. In my opinion it is now the best seafood in the area. And I hate to admit that because now it will be even harder to get in!”
